I hope the press ignore them completely and leave them to live as private citizens. I have no interest in reading about them, although I do take an interest in the royal family generally.

He doesn’t actually live in the UK anymore and probably owns a lot of property, not just at Althorp. My money’s on him offering them a home. The RF cannot be seen to be housing H&M. The PR campaign around this has been very interesting and will continue to be.

Turning to the current members of the royal family, Prince William and wife Catherine continue to come top of the list, with 76% and 75% positive ratings respectively.
Princess Anne is not far behind, on 70%.
King Charles himself is popular with 60% of Britons – a figure unchanged from the previous poll. However, one in three (34%) have a negative view of the king.
At the other end of the table, Prince Harry and wife Meghan continue to be unpopular, with just 30% and 20% respectively taking a favourable opinion of the Sussexes.
And of course, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor comes dead last, with just 3% holding a positive view of the former prince – the joint-lowest to date. Fully 93% have a negative view of AMW, including 85% who have a “very negative” view.

After all they have said (its not safe/you’re all racist/i was suicidal) and done (be bloody rude about QE2/spilled their guts in Spare/tried all manner of money making flops) I am utterly flabbergasted that they are coming back. Do they honestly think that they will be welcome? I feel so sorry for the rest of the RF.

If Harry was a target for the Taliban it was because he chose to boast about how many of them he killed putting a bigger target on his wife and children's backs. He is so dim that probably never even occurred to him. I feel sorry for Prince William and Princess Catherine who must be sick to their stomachs of Harry and Meghan. When William is king maybe he can strip them of the Sussex titles and take away the Prince and Princess titles from Archie and Lilibet. Without the titles they might go away again.
