She’s just been quiet for a few days, but the reaction to it across multiple threads shows how impossible the goalposts are.

If she shows up to an event, posters complain and tell her to stay away. If she actually goes quiet, those exact same people start a frantic search party accusing her of not being supportive. The reality is that people on this board are so utterly co-dependent on having someone to bash at that they actively hallucinate drama the moment they get exactly what they asked for.

I'm as sceptical of this couple as anyone, but mimicking the shameful Where's Kate nonsense is not the way to go.

1. Meghan doesn’t have comments enabled on her social media.
2. I believe she + her team do read mumsnet.
3. The numbered threads are very long, I just wanted to send her a msg that would catch her eye.
4. Things are crumbling around Prince Harry and he is being publicly criticised.
5. Im not sure people around her dare to tell her to support him. I’m saying it as a stranger on mumsnet, because I’ve nothing to gain or lose.

If someone you care about is in his position, wouldn’t you want to be there to lend strength and help figure a way through it ? For better or worse and all that… he’s still doing his UK events, in the spotlight (which he did court to be fair), by himself!

This is the time to be squeezing his arm and patting his back, not just when things are going swimmingly.

I have a friend who worked at the Royal household and the feedback from the staff at Frogmore is that they nicknamed her Meagan Screamer (a play on Megan Trainor) because of how she treated staff and that 12 staff members resigned.

Accept or reject that as you choose to but I for one do not like workplace bullies.
