Am I the only one thinking that H attending afternoon tea with Auntie Anne would serve him much better than attending his “therapy” sessions?

H: ”Auntie, is there any way for RAVEC to be persuaded to indulge my need to be affirmed as being as special as William?” (Kidnap reference incoming) A: “Not bloody likely”.

H: “Can you speak to Daddy about bankrolling my quasi-wannabe royal life?” A: “Naff off”.

(Though likely he’d crap his pants at the idea and I feel Anne already does enough royal duty).

On a somewhat wishful note though I’d bloody love to see Anne in the role of Agony Aunt in a publication - “Ask Anne” ….now that would definitely be something to joyful to read 😂😂😂

You got it slightly wrong – it's naff ORF. 😂

That would be SO good @BreadInCaptivity

Starryfifty · Today 17:57

What date was he actually supposed to travel ?? Surely he has all the logistics sorted for that if it's soon ?

I presume Harry is still coming but just won't bring the family? That is, if he truly does want to show commitment to Invictus. Surely he wouldn't let them down?

Lunde · Today 18:04

Harry's security tantrums are just getting boring now!

Catherine has just shown the ability to travel from Scotland, to England and then on to Wales and climb three popular mountains with nobody being any the wiser until she'd finished! Harry could have this as well if he stopped announcing his itineraries to the press.

This is the problem - Harry doesn't want to be secure he wants security theatre to prove his status - the big SUV security convoys, the streets cleared and blue lights used, barriers for the non-existent crowds, controlling who attends his events....

William seems to have pretty low key security often a couple of discreet RPOs who keep their distance. I remember the time when William was walking in South London chatting with a representative of a mental health charity (IIRC) whose premises William visited that day. Suddenly a woman sees him and launches herself over the grass verge shouting "I see a Prince!!". A tricky moment for security to react. The RPOs move in closer to watch but there is no overt "macho" security (shoving/grabbing etc). In the end the excited woman gets a selfie and everyone is happy. Low key security and friendly public access.
.... Harry would probably characterise the same event as an assassination attempt and demand armed police wrestled her to the ground (like his team whined about the "stalker" who shouted "I love you Harry" in court).

I don't think he will tbh. As if he gives two F** about Ingriftus. This was only ever about PR, motorcades, lights, etc. Nothing more

Re Harry’s security at Invictus. The Eurovision Israeli delegations are reported to travel with Shin Bet security agency protection and I don’t see why an IDF team to Birmingham would request less or expect less, so maybe H can hang out with them. He could wear a stand-out costume or something, maybe chat about his ANL court case and where he got the idea to take the Mosley family money from.

I’m sure like fuck will it it’ll all go smoothly.

Invictus is Harry's last link with his royal life and gives him a quasi 'official' status. He'll be there. Those poor kids are just being used as an emotional blackmail tool.

But even as a working royal he would never, or hardly ever, have got that level of security. So dim as he is, he must know that's not on offer.

Also, isn't' the family on holiday 'in Europe' at the moment? How come they managed that without armed security? Because I can't imagine any European country is pulling out all the stops for these chancers.

The pair of them are styling themselves on Trump’s cavalcades; outriders, blue light, the works.
Stupid boy.

Plus they were filmed at Disneyland recently without overt armed security.

This is about Harry wanting back his princely status that he gave up

Absolutely 💯

Yes stories about H and security are becoming incredibly boring and I wish the so called journalists who write them would stop filling most of the article with quotes from a source close to the Sussexes and engage in a bit of fact checking.

They're far too lazy and the fans are far too stupid.

So Harry wants to turn the clock back to January 2020?

He would have got the cavalcade when attending on-duty events. So for public stuff, but not for the visits to The Palmer Arms or his mate's place in the Cotswolds.

He is now over here with a formal programme of events (Friday's edition of HELLO magazine has the details, I believe) much like those in Nigeria and Colombia and Australia. And he's going to have to do it without the police stopping the traffic. (Wasn't he late last time for the Well Child thing?)

Quite the come-down.

I don’t know if it’s true! But I heard that “ sources close to the duke “ report that he’s desperate to scrub the freedom flight videos and images off the net! 🤔

Tom Sykes has just demonstrated to the world that he knows less than Jon Snow when it comes to H&M.

Would he have got a full cavalcade to visit a youth club in Scunthorpe? I'm not sure. Royal security is usually very discreet.

In any case, he's not a working royal now so he'll have to make do with whatever Ravec thinks is appropriate and be grateful for it.

And the Chelsea Pensioners - he’s got all the sympathy photo op demographics - the bereaved children, disabled military hero’s and the elderly - wonder if his global comms team workshopped it to get the range.

Jon Snow who has Alzheimer's? I hope that's not supposed to be a joke and you just didn't know he's been diagnosed.
