Yeah, we should be snivellingly grateful she is prepared to wear pretty frocks & attend sporting events for us plebs. Do you people even hear yourselves?

I reiterate what I said. I'd rather do my job and have my life rather than have to attend countless boring events and have to wear a different sodding dress every time I have to go out to said event...only for my look to be evaluated/obsessed/criticised

I honestly don't think she's got an easy life, despite outward appearances....

I love the family photo, pity Pippa couldn’t make it.

The new photos are lovely!

Butteredtoast55 · 05/07/2026 18:17

I feel quite emotional seeing those photos. They're such a happy, loving family, completely at ease with each other ❤️

IcedPurple · 05/07/2026 18:25

These photos are gorgeous.

George is so tall, Louis is a mini Michael Middleton, and Charlotte is all William.

Why poor Charlotte?

George is quite a good mix of both his parents I think. He really is so tall, I think he’ll surpass his dad, but the I think Charlotte and Louis also look quite tall. No surprise really. I agree Louis is all Middleton and Charlotte is all William. They’re lovely looking children.

Those pictures are lovely.

If it’s all done for PR then they are killing it.

They look like they’ve been perfectly cast for a movie style family drama - even down to the dog.

IcedPurple · 05/07/2026 18:48

I really think Kate should have chosen something sport/outdoor related for her 'life's project'. The Early Years research thing doesn't really play to her strengths. She really comes alive in a sporty outdoors environment.

You get the feeling the RF have finally left the 1930s behind and can represent the modern-day nation again.

The timing is seriously serendipitous.

A family wholeheartedly celebrating the charity-related achievement of one of the parents. Well done, and welcome back to a return to health!

With all the children there. Facing the camera.

A supportive, loving brother.

The grandparents - the not-famous ones. An integral part of the family, an integral part of the moment.

All in a wet part of Wales ( any other sort?). All done with no prior fanfare.

Puts all this "getting to meet/not getting to meet the grandchildren - will they/won't they be photographed together" right into perspective.

I think the fact that the Princess of Wales was happy to be photographed in ugly 70s style red shorts just adds to the charm!

I’ve just seen James Middleton has posted another picture with the most lovely words. Such a loving and supportive family.

Such lovely photos. She's just so natural and authentic.

Dameputtingonabraveface · 05/07/2026 19:57

@EmpressSisi, thatis so lovely. Thank you for sharing. These photographs are all really uplifting, as they would be of any family supporting someone they love achieve such an incredible challenge. This is someone who has recently undergone treatment for cancer (and the physical and emotional impact just not just end when treatment does). The fact it happens to be the future queen means increased publicity, awareness and support. I am not particularly a royalist, but this is a member of the Royal Family quietly playing their role. No massive publicity at the time, but using their status for good. Whilst all the ribbon cutting for a new public loo in Grimsby etc may have been a visable thing in the past, I much prefer this approach. The same for Camilla and Sophie who are doing so much around domestic violence and the use of sexual violence in warfare, amoungst other causes that really matter in this world.

BanishJanuaryblues · 05/07/2026 20:13

I wonder why they’ve selected these shots in particular - none of which show her face straight on. I wouldn’t blame them if it’s because her face wasn’t looking as immaculate as it usually does.

myrtleWilson · 05/07/2026 20:36

Replying to @BanishJanuaryblues as the quote function didn't appear to work...

🤔I'd imagine it is because she is demonstrating how the whole famliy is impacted by a cancer diagnosis and indeed by remission as she says in her letter to the Marsden about the importance of holisitic care

"The challenges ripple outwards, touching families, friendships, work and the quiet moments we spend alone with our thoughts."

Whilst I don't know her, I'd be surprised if she vetoed spotlight on her face photos on the grounds of not looking 'immaculate'

Judging · 05/07/2026 20:41

Kate’s brother’s post is lovely. Her greatest strength is her loving family.
