Can we have a discussion about non UK wedding dresses too

Most flattering. Queen Mary of Denmark Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden
Most appropriate queen Maxima.of Netherlands
Best tiara. Princess Madeline of Sweden & Alessandra de Osma (princess of Hanover)
Most unflattering Queen Letizia of Spain (I really didnt like her look.
Worst tiara queen Letizia of Spain

I will always have a soft spot for Mabel Wises over the top bow dress it just gives you such an insight into her personality and it makes me smile. I loved Princess Alessandra of Denmark (Prince Joachims first wife) dress at the time but I would say it has dated.

As I said on the other thread, I think Grace Kelly's (Princess Grace of Monaco) was the loveliest. It has been widely admired over the years.

Graces dress is often seen as the classic I agree. I do think its lovely but I will admit I didnt even think of it when I was considering my list.

I loved CPV's wedding dress

I also liked simplicity of Princess Angela of Liechtenstein's wedding dress. I think this was the vibe that Meghan wanted to recreate but unfortunately the fit of hers was wrong and the material was too stiff

For me, it begins and ends with Beatrice Borromeo's 3 (or was it 4?) wedding dresses, especially the white one. Honourable mention to Mette-Marit of Norway's dress too. Wasn't a fan of Letizia's or Mary's, though I love their day to day style, and Maxima's was strangely understated for her. I'd have expected a whacky sleeve or a giant headpiece!

I wasnt keen on Mette-Marits dress or the weird bouquet..

I agree Maxima was understated (for her style) but I think that to me is why it was appropriate

I liked Beatrices white dress with the sort of flowing back pieces

I liked the bride's dress at the Jordanian wedding a couple of years ago when Crown Prince Hussein married Princess Rajwa

Loved the shape of Queen Mary's though i think the neckline could have been better fitted - it gaped a bit when she put up one arm to wave

Liked Queen Maxima's, and also Queen Margarethe's.

I also liked queen Margrethes deess but I can never get over the placement of the marguriette broach.

I loved Charlene of Monaco’s wedding dress. It was perfectly suited to her swimmer’s physique, highlighting her strong shoulders and toned arms without overwhelming her frame. She has such striking athletic elegance, and the silhouette really celebrated that.

I’ve often thought Meghan might have suited a similar style. She also has beautiful broad shoulders and strong arms. Unfortunately British royal brides are generally expected to keep their shoulders and upper arms covered, which likely influenced her choice of a bateau neckline. While I understand the intention, I’ve always felt the dress was let down by its fit. The high neckline combined with the long sleeves left very little skin visible to balance the look, making the silhouette feel heavy on her frame (not helped by the stiff material). By contrast, Catherine and Eugenie both balanced their long sleeves with lower necklines, which created more visual harmony and prevented the dresses from looking too covered up.

I also loved Sofia of Sweden’s wedding dress. It managed to be both romantic and elegant, with the lace sleeves and feminine neckline creating a beautiful balance between modesty and softness.

I liked the recent Jordanian wedding dresses, both Princess Rajwa and Princess Iman looked very elegant. I liked Meghan's evening reception dress, the Stella McCartney, I thought that was gorgeous.
Princess Angela of Liechtenstein's dress was very simple, but she looked stunning.
Beatrice Borromeo set a standard, though!

@EmpressSisi,I agree with you about Charlene's dress, a beautiful cut and very elegant. I'm not too keen on the current fashion for a lot of lace at the moment, personally. I think it's hard to get right and can look a bit fussy.

I loved Mette Marit's, but I really didn't like the strange bouquet! In agreement about BB..

Princess Nora zu Oettingen-Spielberg, married to Lord Max Percy, son of the Duke of Northumberland.
Gorgeous dress, lovely bouquet.
