The ongoing dramas from Montecito courtesy of H&M.

I can’t see another thread but I made the same mistake last time …

I wasn't going to look because I don't even want to give it clicks but curiosity got the best of me.
And I can't find it-where is it?

On her insta page.

I also think they’ll be accompanied by park staff and heavy handed security - who I think would be actively trying to stop anyone taking photographs or intimidating them into deleting them if they did.

You can pay at Disney to have a premium package where you are escorted around the park and taken to the front of every queue. I presume they do that. But not sure they could stop people taking photos?

Thedom · 12/05/2026 08:34

Someone mentioned the water and sunscreen, there is an image from the video of Doria with a huge backpack, guess Doria is the Sherpa for the family.

I am just trying to imagine getting one of my kids grandparents to carry all our shit on her back, what a lesson to teach your kids !

edited to add : obviously taking an educated guess it is the families stuff in the backpack, can’t imagine what else is in there though ! Harry allowing his kids grandmother to trawl around a backpack, no matter whose stuff is in it, is just typical of him, I guess,

Of course they couldn’t stop it, but how many families would really risk getting kicked out of the park over a row over a photo of some kids they probably don’t care that much about. I imagine Harry and Meghan’s own security team would be super aggressive on this front.

I'm just speculating of course.

AtIusvue · 12/05/2026 08:39

She’s updated the As ever website too. New colours, layout and photos …..not dramatically. but more grey tones now.

The vibe is……fashion Meg selling you luxury pricey jam for your luxury home that you bought with your luxury business……..not trad wife Meg selling you artisanal jam made in her kitchen to one day reuse the jar a vase for hand picked garden flowers.

She can’t decide who she wants you to see.

So that’s why she brought along her mum? So her outfit won’t get ruined for the photos/she’s lazy.

I wonder if her Disney outfit will appear on that one off world platform.

I'm really not sure how Disney would handle this. They avoid heavy handed confrontation as it spoils the 'magic' 🤣

Also loads of celebs get snapped at Disney so it definitely happens.

But photographing other people's kids is a shit thing to do, and definitely frowned on, but you'd think some low life would do it.

I suspect they are not there long, do a few carefully chosen 'experiences' and leave, minimising the chance of being exposed to the general public.

StrawberryWasp · 12/05/2026 08:44

I'm sure you can pay a Disney employee to carry your stuff. Doria is saving them some money 🤣

Not sure but I see Archie has sunglasses and a hat on. Lili has sunglasses on the boat ride so she could have them in that pic too.

They're already getting the kids to wear sunglasses around the public..that’s so ridiculous

Edited

I think this is the third time this week I've been on MM side. This is quite unsettling 😂

Sunglasses should be worn for eye protection, especially with light eyes. Obviously a hat can work as well but my children have always worn sunglasses.

Obviously any parent would do this…….but you never see the kids in their California garden with the sun blazing with a hat and sunglasses on.

This was just for the public.

She’s telling herself she’s beautiful? Minus the apostrophe! Details indeed!

I’m not a grandmother yet but the daughters had better not have ideas. No I won’t be lugging backpacks of baby kit on the day out. And I definitely won’t be joining a family trip to Disney. Let alone wearing mouse ears.
Pretty sure I’m safe though have been force marched through the wilds of Scotland over the last two days. Just welcoming wind and rain as an excuse to luxuriate in the fabulous holiday home and have a quiet day with my book.

StrawberryWasp · 12/05/2026 08:54

I'd love to go to Disney with grandkids (when I get some!) And would absolutely take a backpack and sunscreen, and encourage everyone to wear sunscreen and mickey ears.

That's all fine normal family stuff.

I wouldn't put it on social media though.

Why would anyone else care about my holiday?

AtIusvue · 12/05/2026 09:06

I think taking them to Disney every year now seems to be an excuse for not having birthday parties for the kids. They could go to Disney at any point in the year. They are only a few hours away.

Last weekend Meg was in Chicago. This weekend they were at Disney. Clearly there’s been no party for Archie.

AtIusvue · 12/05/2026 09:07

Maybe he doesn’t want one! But I think this will be a theme of them going to Disney for the kids bdays

Curlygirl06 · 12/05/2026 09:09

I did think the same as pp re other people and photos of the children. I should imagine that a full face picture of the children, if offered to the media, would generate a bidding war and be very lucrative. I wouldn't do it but I can't speak for others.

I was wondering about that the other day, actually, when I watched an interview in which Michelle Obama said that the president has to pay his own food bill when living in the White House. She said you could indeed call the kitchen and ask for a peach, but you have to remember you’re going to get a bill for $6 for it. Do you think the royals pay for their own Sainsbury’s delivery or curry takeaway?? And with what money? Do their credit cards say “William Wales” or “Harry Sussex”? When Harry said Meghan had to use her credit card to pay for a sofa for Nott Cott I just assumed that was because if he wanted something he’d have to make a formal request which would have to be reviewed and approved and then an order placed through official suppliers etc, 6 week process, easier to just go out and get one for £499 there and then. But maybe they do actually have to pay for this stuff out of their allowances. I’d be interested to know actually!

The UK Prime minister and other ministers are treated very stingily as well and have to pay for their own food. I recall Margaret Cook, ex wife of Robin Cook complaining that she had paid for a huge food shop for Chevening House (grace and favour country house of the Home Secretary) when she wasn’t invited there for the weekend or something, it must have been just after he dumped her.

Poor things. Not treated like Royalty! 😂

“No10 is a threadbare place and most prime ministers are petrified of spending money on it,” says Seldon. “It’s not a nice building to live in, particularly if you are bringing up a family.”
Harri adds: “The contrast between how we equip the Royal Family against what we give the democratically elected leaders of the country who make all the big decisions could not be starker.”

ShamedBySiri · 12/05/2026 09:32

I think Royals typically have a lot of food that is home grown - Charles in his garden at Highgrove, veg shipped up to London, venison and game from Balmoral or Sandringham, other meat from home farms in Windsor etc. There was “scandal” when W&C installed two kitchens at Kensington Palace, but they had a professional one for chefs when entertaining etc and a “home” one for family use. I don’t have a problem with that personally, they are a family with young children and trying to give them a sense of normality in their lives, it makes sense to me.

Recklessismymiddlename · 12/05/2026 09:35

I’m Greek Cypriot and it used to be really common to have a large all super ‘show kitchen’ and a smaller proper working kitchen that is hidden away. I’ve never understood that mentality. Some still do that. My Cypriot family are often shocked when they come to visit and we use our actual kitchens! My dsis has the show and hidden kitchen concept.

I really don't think so.

The days of publications paying big money for photos of children are long gone. And these kids are 7 and 4, long past the newborn stage where there would be much more interest.

Effervescentfrothy · 12/05/2026 09:46

Do these kids never do anything normal I wonder. It’s like they can’t think of anything else to do with them to celebrate. They don’t seem to have friends the same age or see anyone apart from Doria or their parents. The children look disconnected and ill at ease, as well as badly dressed. Lillie’s hair never looks brushed.

Thedom · 12/05/2026 09:47

I don’t think any official media would purchase the photos, but I imagine they would be all over SM if anyone had taken photos of them.

PlattyCat · 12/05/2026 09:54

Surely they have enough money to have separate celebrations for each of the children’s birthdays? Having it the day after Mother’s Day seems like a convenient choice so Meghan can make it all about her as well.

Also, the press release about how Mother’s Day and the children’s birthdays were spent doesn’t bode well for the “all we want is privacy” narrative. I don’t think we’ve ever been told how the Wales children spend their birthdays or Mother’s Day. We just assume they’re spending them happily among family.

bluegreygreen · 12/05/2026 09:58

Re photos - were they in Florida or Disney California?

If the latter the 2013 Californian anti-paparazzi law re photographing minors would apply.
