He’s moved back to the US now . No mention of his new love interest, so I’m guessing that was very short lived.

Met gala tonight, chaired by her buddies Serena and Beyonce, bankrolled by the Bezos, I think this is the best opportunity they have ever had for an invite.

I think it's Venus who chairs the Met Gala, not Serena. And apparently Venus doesn't like MM!

You are right ! I just saw a photo of Serena in a horrendous red dress and it made me think of her rather than Venus. I didn’t realise Venus doesn’t like MM, that’s interesting. If it’s true Lauren Sanchez and Anna Wintour don’t think much of Meghan, would Beyonce have enough influence to get H&M an invite ?

There's an interesting video of the ceremony where Harry got the Pat Tillman award and Venus very pointedly doesn't get up or clap even when everyone else is.

Also, re Beyonce, it would depend if she and MM haven't already fallen out as MM has a knack for losing friends and no one of any importance seems interested in her anymore.

I’m not sure if Beyoncé and MM were ever that close. I can’t see her putting herself out on a limb to invite MM.

I’m beginning to think she may make an appearance ! I do hope so, maybe she has perfected the Zoolander walk we saw in Paris.

There was a picture of her at the airport and she spoke to a reporter in the Phillipines to say he was going home for treatment. I felt for her.

Is the roof still standing.

She wasn’t invited ‘on advice’ from the palace. If I had been told I couldn’t invite my relative to my wedding, I would have walked. M’s ability to cut people out of her life should have rung alarm bells with H and the rest of the RF.

She’s already back in California. I don’t think she’s going

Quite! We were reading in the papers at the time that the Queen was urging H and M to sort things out with her father and if she had any other family she would like to invite. All this is a matter of public record.

So she attended the communion of a godson who wasn’t part of her wedding party. The child of an old friend who also didn’t attend her wedding. And this just happened to be a leaked to People Magazine of all the publications. On Princess Charlotte’s birthday.

edit to add: I accept the child probably wasn’t old enough to be in the wedding. But it’s still a bit odd that it’s the first we’ve heard of him/his parent, whoever they are.

In fairness, the child can only be around 7/8 years old. Meg married in 2018.

Still, seems odd just to go on her own. If it’s a family friend, why not take the kids?

The photo of Meghan at the First Holy Communion was a good example of something that seems to happen seldom in the UK - the mother of one of the other children in the event took a photo of Meghan in the congregation (in a “look who’s here” sort of way) and posted it to twitter. As she is a journalist, it got a lot of traction.

Assuming Meghan didn’t have any involvement in this I feel sorry for her here, as I would for any celebrity who finds their private life isn’t respected by the public.

But an old friend from college? They obviously weren't worth keeping in touch with whilst she was climbing the greasy pole.

In that case it is different - I don't agree with that type of intrusion.
