PR disasters of Meghan and Harry.

Left off at the last page with Meg selling candles to people who want to know what her young children smell like. She’s also using the kids full titles in the press release….just for a dash of extra exploitation.

As you were

Yes, very airport gift shop. A palm tree also features in police and sheriff’s department logo/badges all over the coastal US. It’s an interesting vibe to go for there. It doesn’t say ‘classy’ to me.

I thought the palm tree with the two birds first made an appearance with American Riviera Orchard, TheAutumnCrow, or am I thinking of something else?

It would certainly be a surprise if she'd used something from a closed down venture, but I honestly did feel it looked familiar

Edited to say ignore me ... I looked it up and the palm tree's the As Ever logo. so at least it makes some kind of sense here

The release of the candles with the children's names on what would have been HLMTQ's 100th birthday does seem to have been pretty roundly criticised in the press & SM. I wonder if even M thought she's gone a step too far & discretion was the better part of valour by removing the titles from the press release.

I would love to think she's had a shot across the bows though from BP. She has been cocking a snook for a long time.

But what can BP do realistically? Apart from threatening to remove the titles. They would just scream racism.

That was the booby/ovaries logo.

Yes I just edited to update my post, @corblimeygvnr ... I've realised now it's actually the As Ever logo

They have screamed racism before. Palace tends to bounce back. AMW for example!

As far as I am aware, part of the sandringham agreement was titles were not to be used for commercial gain.

She plagiarised the As Ever logo from the coat of arms of a town in Spain

I don't thinks it's just the logo which doesn't look luxurious , it's the ceramic pot the candle comes in. That looks really cheap to me.

So how long do The Palace run scared of “racism” threats? 5 years? 10 years? What if Archie and Lily grow and want to use their titles for something which could bring the institution into disrepute? This shit show can’t go on through fear of being bullied by Harry and Meghan.

Recklessismymiddlename · 22/04/2026 22:18

Well precisely. Just cut them loose. I’d have already done that by now tbh. I think KC is too soft.

AtIusvue · 22/04/2026 22:20

There’s an article in the Spectator arguing that Harry still has a place in the UK…not bothering to post it but it did have a great moniker for Meghan……Lady Megbeth 😂

Especially when Harry's already backtracked on the racism claims, on the record, blaming it on the British press.

The Palace have his own words to quote back at him and Meghan. They didn't want titles. They didn't accuse his family of racism. Harry said it publicly, in press releases and interviews.

'Mindful of Prince Harry's own strongly expressed and televised views ...' etc etc.

Harry wanted 'the truth'. I'd be giving to him, good and hard. With hyperlinks.

RF really can't have another AMW and his rotten wife and daughters type scandal. What if, in the future, Archie and L use their titles to do business with some dodgy characters etc ???

Yes exactly! It was the press accusing RF of racism, not him and Meg 🙄

I'm thinking Megsalina, and I, Havdivs.

Megsalina is very close friends with Markus Soho Domus. Havdivs meanwhile is somewhat preoccupied with whether the Senate is permitting him sufficient numbers of the Praetorian Guard for personal protection. He also remains furious at the upswing in local scurrilous grafitti. If only those two consuls, Carolus Rex and Carolus Iulielmus would simply understand the peril that Megsy keeps telling him that they are in.

'Maybe it's time to visit another country', Megsy?' he asked. 'It's been a while since we had a triumphal march.'

Megsalina sighed. 'Not Britannia, Havdivs, I'm never going back to that dreadful shithole. I'll do somewhere sunnier, if we can take Markus Soho Domus with us. Now drink your fermented honey punch, it'll stop you getting agitated.'

Havdivs drank deeply. Was it so wrong, he thought, as the pungent liquor took effect, to want to be thought of as a god and be worshipped? He was so misunderstood.

Wonder what they will do tomorrow on Louis’ 8th birthday?

Goodness me those chocolate are expensive.

I really don't like the palm tree logo so to me it looks far too down market for the price.

Do people really spend that much on so little?

I’d happily pay for a box of Sprüngli chocolates, so I compared their truffles price-wise with Compartés. A randomly picked Sprüngli truffle works out at about $3.24 each, and it’s pretty clear that a lot of what you’re paying for with the other brand is the artwork on the chocolates and the packaging.

To be fair, I also looked up reviews of Compartés as a chocolatier, and they’re often described as fashionable and great for gifting but with truffles often described as underwhelming.

And the chocolates in Meghan’s box aren’t even truffles they’re caramels, which are cheap to make so again it’s all hype over substance with her.

Am I a truffle lover who’s being unfair? No. It’s fruit fillings all the way for me.

So now people magazine have an article saying L&A titles haven’t been trademarked (I think reported in another US publication) and they haven’t used the kids titles on their website. Splitting hairs as usual cause they definitely used those titles in the pre release Mother’s Day promotions.

Gaslighting kick back to their own PR.

They really need to stop clapping back at every single story. It doesn't do them any good and just extends the life of the article.

I wouldn't pay that much but I can understand doing it for a premium product as a treat. Nothing As, Ever had produced leads me to believe they are producing high quality products though. It all streams "all mouth and no trousers" as my Granny used to say. Style over substance indeed.
