PR disasters of Meghan and Harry.

Left off at the last page with Meg selling candles to people who want to know what her young children smell like. She’s also using the kids full titles in the press release….just for a dash of extra exploitation.

As you were

These kids are going to be so cranky. Rightfully so.
We (most of us) were all for team Meghan and Harry until they carried on like they do and continue to carry on like they do.
The children really are the innocent ones (at the moment) in all of this.
I wonder if it will be like the Beckham kid breaking free?

LaurenBacal · 26/04/2026 23:12

I should think they’ll consider it a blessing not to be inside the circus, but they won’t know or understand anything about British culture . They won’t have any relationship with their cousins , Uncle and Aunt or remember either of their grandfathers . That’s a huge loss for them. Their parents seem very emotionally immature with huge issues that they haven’t dealt with. I’m not convinced their parents are actually spending much hands on time with them either. It’s tragic really.

Compared to the circus they are living in now? I doubt it.

Indeed. Quite the circus, with little moderation and control. I think we know a lot more about the private lives of Archie and Lilibet than the Wales children.

Wait until they read "Spare" 🤢

My mum had a couple of (fiction) books published when I was little. Now she's self published. Her writing always draws heavy influence from her personal life.

One that was published when I was five was about a brilliant woman who goes back to work two weeks after having her second child that her husband wanted and leaving him to look after the baby.

I don't think my self esteem could handle reading that book!

But luckily for me, nobody much has read or would read it.

Indeed. I think that's tricky.
My friend has written an autobiography because of her unusual life. She waited until her children grew up. There is nothing about them in it, but some details of her life make for difficult reading.
Before it was published she spent time with them, explaining her past and why she had written it.

Absolutely, we have never seen the Wakes children in the bath for starters.

No. Nor at home, playing in the garden, in the kitchen, at Disneyland, making Halloween lanterns etc - A&L's private lives are publicly documented.

Lockupyourbiscuits · 27/04/2026 08:30

There is only one way to stop all this nonsense
The heir is crown prince
everyone else has lesser titles of your choice

once you give a child a prince / princess title it’s hard to
take it away
I’m sure they will all be happier for it 👍
And then non of them can go rogue in the future

JSMill · 27/04/2026 08:34

BigWillyLittleTodger · 26/04/2026 21:51

The kids will obviously believe everything they are told……for now. Shit will hit the fan when they are old enough to become curious and have independent thought, imagine finding out your unique heritage has been denied from you by your parents……

The sad thing is, unlike other families where there has been an estrangement, it’s unlikely that there will be a reunion between the younger generations. The Wales children will likely be very careful about who they let into their inner circles.

What is with Harry that he constantly needs to touch people (usually men) when he does appearances? Is it a posh-boys school thing?

I've seen videos of him tweaking the nipples of fellow polo players - but I've just watched a youtube video of their tour even at Bondi and realised that Harry smacked one of the male lifeguards on the butt when he is bending over to lift a rescue craft 😲

Who does that in a professional work environment? Why does he think this is OK?

Starts at about 1.09

That's shocking!! He still thinks he's the cheeky schoolboy whose jokes were always laughed at. If that lifesaver did the same thing to another lifesaver there would probably be disciplinary action (there definitely would if it was between lifesavers at a UK swimming pool). It would be front page news if one of the Royals here did that - and not in a good news story way.
I have seen so many instances of him behaving inappropriately the Royals are well rid of him, he (and Meghan) quite simply aren't able to behave appropriately.

bluegreygreen · 27/04/2026 09:24

I've now watched the video - it's awful, as is the way he is making the lifesaver laugh along afterwards.

Perhaps the lack of headlines is an indication of just how far they have fallen? Though that doesn't really make sense, given all the other (negative) coverage of their trip.

Starryfifty · 27/04/2026 09:45

Meghan article in daily mail. Apparently worst 7 years of her life as almost behind her. According to her astrologist anyway. On that horrendous internet with Jamie kern Lima, she was the happiest she has ever seen with her fox by her side ...🙄

What a shame that her marriage, having 2 healthy children, global fame, wealth and power have been so awful.

That’s so bizarre!! He slapped a random man on the bum?! Did anyone catch what he says afterwards?

So it appears, ShamedBySiri
A shame really, because while we all make faux pas - well I do anyway Blush - on the whole we manage to behave in a publicly acceptable manner.
Unfortunately both grew up in hideously dysfunctional families, and despite the privilege on Harry's side perhaps there just wasn't suitable guidance?

Edited

It's odd how his brother, brought up the same, manages not to behave the same way. The behavioural effects of sausage consumption in action, perhaps?

Gosh, I jolly well hope all those affected by Anzac Day gave themselves a good talking to for reflecting on their own pain on the same day Her Supreme Victimness shared her "horror"scope with the world. Let us not forget who the real victims are in these straitened times. Someone's head has spent far too much time retrograde up Uranus.

In a world where he's constantly given a free pass for his poor behaviour.

bluegreygreen · 27/04/2026 11:48

Perhaps - or perhaps this is how he behaves when out of the realm of suitable guidance?

OtherS · 27/04/2026 12:10

I've long suspected he has some actual issues, like developmental or learning difficulties. He's always acted very childishly and has a very undeveloped sense of humour, plus I can't fathom how anyone without something a bit wrong can possibly come out of Eton with one E. Obviously if this is the case, his family's really to blame for not protecting him better as it would make him very vulnerable to abuse and manipulation. Combined with what is evidently an extremely arrogant, entitled and jealous personality, it was only a matter of time before someone like M found him.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 27/04/2026 12:17

A forty plus year old man should have worked out himself that slapping someone on the backside, particularly a stranger is completely inappropriate despite whatever guidance he did or didn’t receive as a child, what makes it worse is Harry is in a position of extreme privilege and that man probably felt he had to laugh even if he felt upset about it, he shouldn’t have been put that position. Funny how William manages not to behave in a way that in the workplace would trigger an investigation.

LaurenBacal · 27/04/2026 12:18

Harry is behaving like a typical upper class twat from maybe twenty years ago. Times have moved on, and even if he behaved like this with friends and family, it’s not acceptable in public at all anymore. His sense of humour is laddish, not politically correct ignorant and misogynistic.

JSMill · 27/04/2026 12:22

I remember reading that he pushed a couple of girls into a pool at some posh party years ago and they had to just grin and bear it.
