Just heard this on the BBC News. Apparently King Charles can't do this it needs government legislation.Or maybe he can be persuaded to stand down (cant see it) I wonderif Beatrice and Eugenie will keep their places. I'd like to see all the Yorks removed and out of royal life.

I think 99% of the population think he's a 'grub' - no inside knowledge needed...

Unless 'grub' has a specific meaning in Aus other than 'generally unpleasant person'?

It has the same meaning I think - despicable and untrustworthy. (I don’t think he meant Andrew is messy and dirty). It’s unusual for a Prime Minister of a commonwealth country which has a British king as head of state to be that direct and definite about how they view a member of the royal family. Especially in a time of crisis.

The posters saying we should remove the Sussexes and Yorks and put Anne in instead clearly don't understand that if the Sussexes and Yorks were to be removed, Anne and ALL those below her would automatically move up (until William&Kate or George, Charlotte or Louis had legitimate offspring, when anyone below them would move down again).
In theory, everyone on the planet - barring Catholics - is in the line of succession. In the event of an outbreak of plague and all the Windsors dying, the genealogists would work their way through random cousin by random cousin until they found a living person to succeed.

Years ago I had a look at the LOS and when you get down far enough then it is foreign royals, I think Denmark's RF.

Remove titles from all non working royals in one go.

I’ve said long before that the titles should be monarch, heir (possibly monarch dcs), and working royals only.

No Princess Charlotte Beatrice, Eugenie, lilibet. No Prince Louis or Archie. Prince George heir so he stays Prince. Edinburgh DCs don’t use their titles anyway.

Keep titles for working royals and retired working royals so Anne, Edward & Sophie, Gloucester and Kent’s.

If you go far enough you'll reach the Scandi RFs and the Spanish RF - all descendants of Queen Victoria! But lots of non-RF individuals first...

I am inclined to believe Prince Andrew’s loss of titles and proposed loss of his place in the LOS are just attempts to pacify the people in hopes they will lose interest, sooner rather than later and the matter will end there.

Also, it seems that he’s really not lost his titles because the parliamentary process needed hasn’t been completed - if it ever is.

Btw, the Australian Prime Minister called Prince Andrew a ‘grub’ yesterday. The PM would not be without some knowledge of the situation. Read into that what you will.

Has the palace made a statement apologizing for calling Virginia Guiffre a liar, yet? I won’t hold my breath.

Well of course he would. Albo is a republican 🤷‍♀️

He has lost them all except the Dukedom, as I understand it, which for historical reasons requires parliament (it was to reduce the power of the monarch, so that he couldn't remove power from noblemen who were objecting to his actions). There was a bit of a fudge over that, as the government didn't want to allocate time to it.
I did wonder if it might happen when they talked of removing Mandelson's title (I'm sure they could have worded it to include both) but now that there are active legal processes all seems to have gone quiet.
