I’m a bit late to this so apologies if I’ve missed the explanation but my interpretation is that H’s beef is ostensibly with the UK government and what they will provide when he’s on UK soil. However, H believes that the knock on effect of receiving 24/7 cover in the UK signals to other governments that they should be doing the same when he’s in their territories. He said as much in the BBC interview. It’s that worldwide cover that he’s interested in, the UK award is just the trigger for it.

It's not clear, @elessar , if that was Harry announcing he wouldn't be back, or "sources close to the charity" saying he wouldn't be welcome.

Nonetheless, I don't doubt that Harry has no intention of going back, now that he can no longer select the board and ensure it is populated by his mates.

That one can be quite useful when you are very frustrated by a batshit thread on here and can find that you are not alone. Because you can’t start a ‘thread about a thread’ on MN and troll hunting isn’t allowed.

There have been so many AI or obvious made up stories recently and it’s escalating - MN is not as enjoyable as it used to me for me.

I’ve replied in good faith to a few threads over the last week and then wished I hadn’t bothered when it became clear the OP wasn’t real or was making something up.
