I did wonder why I got a sudden influx of SS flunkeys last week on my SM timelines (especially TikTok) talking about viewing figures for Catherine's Christmas Carol service and then instantly dropping into repeating those vile rumours about W&C.

They must have been given the heads up to deflect deflect deflect.

Those viewing figures are pretty abysmal for someone with her fame and name recognition. This was an open net for her and she's whiffed it.

I have just been reading a couple of articles on X ( so may not be true) that H and M are in serious financial trouble and that H asked The Duchy ( William ) for a bailout and was refused .

He certainly has the entitlement and brass front to ask!

Indeed. I'm guessing that KC has set up a trust fund for Archie and Lilibet. We know that he was funding them after Megxit. I'd be surprised if he doesn't contribute at all, especially with awareness of how it's all going.....

I am not so sure after all look what he did with AMW ? I don’t think many people thought he would ( eventually) go that far . According to reports Anne and Edward think A should have been allowed to remain a Prince.

Harry is his son, those children are his grandchildren. He may not like what Harry has done, he may not be able to trust him, but I don't think he'd completely cut him off, unlike Andrew (which was for very valid reasons).

I'm not so sure sibling rivalry is treacherous (look at Harry) I imagine KC enjoys having the ultimate power over AMW after the queen & PP obvious favouritism to the golden son. Reducing a siblings standing would be easy compared to dealing H who is indeed the product of his parents, weak, temperamental, manipulative and not very bright. Diana said Charles was not up to the job.
Charles and TLQ indulged H in behaviour that would never have been tolerated had it been William. Tbh I think William with all his faults/etiquette is twice the man KC is. KC at Williams age was moaning to Dimbleby and anyone who would listen how unhappy his life was.
I doubt KC gives 2 hoots about the Sussex children, he wasn't much interested in his own kids.

I also believe Charles is still helping out, maybe 1 or 2 million a year, but I doubt it’s anything that would support the kind of extravagant lifestyle they have been living up to this point.

You may be right, @binkie163, and it's true that William doesn't tend to whine to journos, but I'm always conscious of just how carefully his image is minded

I'm obviously not blaming the grey suits for Charles's many farces - there's only so much they can do if anyone who suggests anything unwelcome is sacked - but after one failure I can quite see they wouldn't want another, and W&K have nothing like the turnover of staff his father did
