I agree that I don't see it being the squad not sure its a republican push either. Just more noticeable because people didn't create threads before this is a rf board after all so its good to see threads about various topics related to the rf and about different rf members.

I think their is validity to the thread about helicopter use especially as William is championing being more green it does seem hypocritical of him to be doing this but then not using an electric car and driving an hour to another residence. I am sure if this was Harry there would be pages of comments about his hypeocrisy too.

No one barely noticed the content, which does have its merits but from the author, not from them speaking in riddles. People were focused on the multiple layers of extreme filtering, as they yapped on about the dangers of misinformation, AI etc., totally missing the hypocrisy of how they were using technology to misrepresent their very own appearances.

Clearly the new modus operandi is to announce something is happening or H desperately wants it to happen , in the hope that it does . When it doesn’t it will be because it has been thwarted by the palace!

The use of Invictus to blackmail the King into promoting Harry,🤔🤔 it’s clear Harry needs and wants the credibility of proximity to the King, and here we have another charity being coerced and used by Harry to get his way.

Anyway, I think it will be really difficult for the King to attend considering the criticism around bankrupt Birmingham hosting it and the political rumblings about some of the participants, which will only get louder as the games approach.

Hopefully there is an overseas tour planned and Charles can visit the British team during their training before the games even start.

The cause is said to be close to both their hearts and, according to the source, the Game's organisers are 'convinced' the joint appearance will happen.

The DM, as always, is careful with its wording - it doesn't say 'an Invictus source', so presumably this is all coming from Sussex sources again.

Apart from everything going on in Birmingham, which may mean that Invictus 2027 doesn't even go ahead, if I recall correctly the King is involved in events for the Queen's birthday in July, which may clash.

To be honest , I am not convinced that Invictus Birmingham will go ahead given the state of their finances plus many veterans are disillusioned ( we are friends with some) .

I'm not convinced it will go ahead - for the reasons you mention, as well as the Birmingham issues.

I think the King could easily swerve this 'invitation' if it does go ahead - do something for the British team in the run-up to the games, and be represented by the Duke of Edinburgh (if there does need to be a Royal there) at them, given he's already involved with Paralympics.

Yes Harry is realising his credibility is falling. He needs his father to boost him.
