I find it very hard to believe that some are still trying to play the naiveté card regarding H&M's exit in 2020.

H&M literally claimed that they were internationally protected persons and entitled to security as they issued their unilateral proclamation of intent to "collaborate with the Queen".

I really hope the HO hasn’t just caved and restored blanket security cover to Harry Mountbatten-Windsor. Some flexibility on the 30 day requirement might be reasonable while the King is alive, for obvious reasons. The issue is that flexibility for emergencies is fine, but cancelling people's leave on a whim just because Harry decides he's going to fly across tomorrow isn't fine.

I think it would be helpful to hear precisely what HMW is asking for, and why. At the moment what we’re being told is that he’s frightened to travel to the UK with his family.

Why, exactly? What threat does he believe he faces that existing security arrangements can’t deal with? What actual evidence is there of a real risk of harm?

I would hope that any review that the HO or RAVEC undertake would be evidence based. And if the evidence is there then of course he needs the appropriate level of security. But is it?

Harry ( and Sussex supporters) think H and M should automatically have 24/7 security on the grounds that he is the King’s son .
