Why does being at Pizza Express early eve preclude a night at Tramp where no one would arrive before 10pm.

Fergie and The Prince have spent tens of millions of pounds over the time of their lengthy liaison. I'm guessing they have a Lot of Stuff. Sandringham is another gift, which is good I suppose. Lord knows what she's spent the dosh on but I bet it won't fit into a 2 bed flat above Pizza Express in Woking.

AmythestBangle · 01/11/2025 19:54

He isn't innocent. If he was someone would eventually have managed to get evidence of that. I think he thought he was being clever in his lying, not a clue how ridiculous he sounded, and also that it actually matters that none of what he said could be proved. I believe he thought because he was such an elevated being and above all that, no-one would dare to disbelieve him or to expect any evidence. He thought the Newsnight interview went very well straight afterwards and had drawn a line under the allegations, just because he said so.

AmythestBangle · 01/11/2025 20:01

You can't tell me that a man who had security staff with him literally everywhere he went couldn't drum up evidence of where he was on a particular night. Even if there were no lasting written records, there would have been someone who could have attested to his location. There was such a lot at stake. He couldn't find any evidence that exonerated him. Obviously whatever evidence there was, was incriminating rather than exonerating.

Apparently there were personal protection officer records but they're gone. Either destroyed because out of date or suspiciously disappeared

Usernamechangeforthis12 · 02/11/2025 05:13

Those protection officers may not be able to corroborate dates but they would definitely know what went on.

The protection officer I knew around 2005/6 once told me I would be ‘shocked’ at the stories he could tell me about the former PA. None of this surprises me at all. After that conversation, I always suspected something huge one day!

It doesn't. He could have done both.

Serpentstooth · 02/11/2025 09:12

He could have done both. General belief is he did neither. The non-sweaty Truth Teller of York is not credible in his account of this.

CathyorClaire · 02/11/2025 09:53

Probably similar reasons as to why he's never done the 'everything in his power to co-operate with enquiries' he promised in the Newsnight interview.

Why does he imply otherwise in EM interview? Does he think we’ll all a bit dim?

Is he saying he was staying in with his daughters all day & night as SF away? If so, doesn’t make clear.

diddl · 02/11/2025 14:32

Does he think we’ll all a bit dim?

That coupled with why would anyone disbelieve such an honourable chap?
