The royal family

Andrew hosted Epstein, Maxwell and Weinstein at the Royal Lodge TWO MONTHS after an arrest warrant was issued for Epstein.

This is a very deep rabbit hole and getting deeper.

The public should be protesting all royal visits until they are forced to undertake a full government inquiry into who knew what and when. They need to determine where the Yorks were getting their money from.

The BBC are having a lovely time in pointing out to us that Weinstein, Epstein and the sister of those two young buggers who were rude to Frank Field were all in a photo somewhere as well as somewhere else.

ITV were busy this morning asking people to say what they thought about some aspect of the whole thing.

Governed by media.

MyDownstairsLooisHaunted · 28/10/2025 12:47

@upinaballoon

That is exactly why we need a public inquiry. Otherwise media can keep pumping stories and Andrew can keep denying without any accountability. It's a never ending loop.

There are so many questions that need to be answered that are directly in the public interest.

I agree that an enquiry is necessary but can’t see it happening.

Shouting at the king is not going to bring one about.

Thank you for your touching concern, but I can assure you that it’s unnecessary.

It was reprehensible.

You go ahead and be as vulgar as you like. I don’t live like that.

Vulgar? It’s no wonder that the royals get away with being such wankers when there are people like you getting all het up about the fucking king being asked a question. If they want to live a life of unparalleled luxury on our money then they can suck up being asked a few awkward questions 🙄

Well bloody said

ginasevern · 28/10/2025 14:23

@winter8090 "Are you responsible for the actions of your siblings?
Surely the only person accountable here is Andrew."

I'm not sure where you've been most of your life, but you obviously didn't realise that the Royal Family are public servants. They are a public service department funded by the tax payer. Charles is the head of that department and it is entirely his responsibility to ensure that the other employees are doing their jobs properly. Likewise it is his responsibility to discipline them in cases of misconduct. The fact that those employees are members of his family is irrelevant. If familial relationships prevent any of them from fulfilling their paid roles, then the institution should be (and quite rightly has been) seriously brought into question.

It’s not being sycophantic to refrain from shouting in public.

I guess the suffragettes should have kept quiet then?

Not “het up” in the least 😂 Sorry to disappoint.

Are you seriously comparing an entire movement seeking to improve the status of women with some prick who thought he was clever shouting a question that he knew damn well wasn’t going to be answered?!

You also think you’re being clever. You’re not.

ozarina · 28/10/2025 16:59

People are just gutted that Andrew is on his way out. They won't be able to say " but Andrew". They're losing what they see as their trump card 😂

I’m not in the least bit disappointed. You clearly don’t understand the meaning of the phrase given what you’ve been posting.

Wow, you’re weirdly smug. I have no lack of comprehension. Constantly using laughing emojis when you’re not being funny is odd. All that fawning has clearly fried a few brain cells.

I can't remember exactly what the man shouted. Would he and others do better to put pressure on their MPs for an enquiry?

Rude AF. I have no interest in your goading. It’s boring and derailing. Will no longer be stooping to your level.

He's an elderly man with cancer -he doesn't 'need to be made uncomfortable'. He deserves compassion and kindness.

He’s either an elderly man with cancer who deserves compassion or a powerful Head of State with a challenging highly paid job. He can’t be both.

AzureCats · 28/10/2025 17:22

Maybe the RF should hold court where their subjects can politely ask questions in regards to state of the realm.
Obviously I won't hold my breath for that to ever happen.

bluegreygreen · 28/10/2025 17:38

My2cents1975 · 27/10/2025 22:02

Heckling? The guy just shouted a valid question. He did not threaten anyone or do anything untoward such as throwing objects.

Charles accepted the job of King on live TV with millions witnessing his oaths so the proverbial buck stops at his desk. He can't put out PR whinging that his mum didn't deal with it a full three years after her passing, especially since it was KC3 who recklessly allowed Andrew and Sarah to slither back into family events.

Live and direct feedback from those who live in his Realm may finally provide KC3 a sense of urgency to deal with his awful brother Andrew.

Agree with this. The recent spin that it was all the HMTLQ's fault as she didn't want to deal with Andrew is unacceptable. The Queen removed Andrew's patronages and military affiliations. Before her death, she had stopped him attending the family Christmas walk to church. It's not her fault that he has been increasingly visible recently.

The most important sentence in that BBC report is this:
But last Thursday, the government refused to give MPs time to debate the prince's titles or his home, despite growing pressure for scrutiny.

The protester should be heckling MPs, not the King. It's their job to hold Royalty to account, and they should be doing it. If they aren't, we should be asking why.

Yes quite

There is no official mechanism to discuss issues pertaining to the RF and that makes people feel disenfranchised. Which is bad news for both our democracy and the monarchy. Neither the government nor the Windsors seem to understand that.

Very well put, @bluegreygreen

As said earlier I get why this guy acted as he did, but really it's pointless asking Charles anything when he's made his reluctance to act decisively so clear

MPs on the other hand could force the issue if they chose, but it seems they're counting on the public apathy which they'll expect to kick in sooner or later ... and worryingly they may well be right
