Is As ever all over? Starting to feel like it.

It’s been 14 hours since the launch of the 2024 Rose. Nothing has sold out. This is despite it being designed again as a scarcity drop, so it can’t be argued she’s finally got her stock levels right.

• As ever stated the wine launch going ‘live’ at on the 5th August. Language designed to get you to rush and buy. Just like all this SM shopping you get now.
• Meghan put out a message many hours ago, stating that they have so much more stock (sad clapback to stuff not shifting) but hurry and be quick because it’s selling fast!!! (It’s clearly not)
• This launch however, has attracted very little press compared to previous drops

The scarcity gimmick is already tired and because she’s been absent from SM for 2 months…save for a few stock images/videos- she’s lost any momentum she had. She’s putting in bare minimum and her customer base feel it. She’s checked out.

There’s been talk of another series of WLM 3 and Meg getting a new NF contract, but I think that is just to fill the void until she can get WLM2 out. At which point, we will find out if there is any truth in any further deals.

The reason why I doubt WLM3, is that for continuity, you would need the same venue. But the home is now being used to to host weddings etc, it’s no longer a private rental but one open to the public to rent. There’s no way Meg would film in that location now. In addition she would need to have gotten the go ahead already for WLM3 and be filming right now to be able to stick to a schedule. The fact that it isn’t already confirmed, it’s giving the signal that WLM is over (in addition to knowing NF deal is done)

Now if WLM is over, I don’t think she has the draw to pull people to As ever. She doesn’t engage with her fan base enough, she does the bare minimum of SM posts, which she hasn’t even achieved the last few months. The Shopmy page is dead too. This is why the new wine launch has barely registered and hasn’t sold out 14 hours later. Yes, there will be more stock but it’s been designed for a sell out so there won’t be huge numbers.

As ever I think will be slowly wound down. There will be WLM2, with maybe another 18 months of drops. Then like everything else, it will be dropped quietly. Everyone is starting to get a bit bored by the half hearted, very beige effort she’s put into her ‘business’ and have tuned out.

She will have to launch yet another version of herself very soon. We’ve had actress, feminist, activist, producer, philanthropist….now female founder. God knows what’s next!

Why did H&M host him at their wedding? Why didn’t they speak out in the docuseries and Spare. They had the inside track - they had a platform - why be silent and compliant?

Here's my opinion. I don't like what I hear and read about Chrissy Teigen . But I don't follow US celebrities.

I have 2 views on her (CT) being on WLM

1. Either they have been good friends since the briefcase days, if that is true, and have bonded over having negative publicity. CT has apparently apologised fulsomely so maybe M has taken that and maybe helping rehabilitate her. ( though with 40m followers - CT's got enough support surely? ) So forgive and forget on M's part & she had to live through "during" and "after" so she knows what CT's experience is like - caveat I'm not sure M has ever apologised for anything.
2. M was short of guests and thought 40m followers - I'll have a slice of that.

Honestly I think if M could have had another guest why didn't she give CT a swerve. However much the apologies it is not a good look for a family / child centric show and particularly not if you are campaigning against child bullying. It seems cynical to me. But what do I know.

What I do know is that ( freely admit it ) I watched the 1st drop of WLM. It was novel & hugely advertised ,promoted. But most of the widely publicised criticisms I thought were true. This next drop I won't be watching - it's actually quite hard work - for me - Meghan is not a great presenter. I also don't want to watch a programme which features CT. Even if only one episode. Will NF / MM care - not one jot and nor should they , but not even for shits and giggles will I watch the 2nd drop.

There is a massive difference which you are choosing to ignore, seeing as you are constantly bringing up the analogy of parents forgiving a child let me spell it out.

You can’t choose your family, they are part of you for better or worse, a vast majority of parents have a biological urge to nurture and protect their children no matter what they have done, it’s Mother Nature, it’s innate. However, you can choose your friends, there is no biological pull to excuse a friends abhorrent actions and behaviour, the friends you choose reflect the character you are. Meghan has no genetic bond to Chrissy Teigen, she didn’t birth her, she chooses to be friends with her and she showcases that friendship to the world, a friend who tells children to end their lives, a friend who writes peado tweets about babies and children, the parent/child relationship is in no way comparable to the relationship Meghan has with Teigen, but you know all of this really don’t you.

I hope going forward you never criticise any of the royal family for having a relationship with Andrew because to them, he may have rehabilitated himself and by doing this his family may have forgiven him, which according to your earlier posts is something you would do yourself.

It’s a cold hard commercial decision. It’s all about the eyeballs - MM NEEDS CT 40, 000, 000 followers to extend her market access to flog her products beyond her 1m ish followers. Same as she did with the jam. Morals go out the window - she doesn’t have anyway. I suspect CT fans have the same rotten moral core as MM fans. Simple marketing strategy.

Same as MM bumbling father - his ‘crime’ was minuscule compared to CT. He has reached out and apologised for years and years but MM has not forgiven - could it be because he doesn’t have 40 million followers she can access to flog her wares.

Same as Jessica M - very helpful for MM on her ascendancy in Canadian society - but when she was cancelled (although apparently subsequently exonerated) MM dumped her - purely I suggest because she didn’t serve her purpose or extend MMs reach. This was her BFF who she included in her wedding as well as dragging her and her husband on her Australian royal tour - but when she doesn’t balance out transactionally she’s toast and ghosted.

I tend to believe the article i read recently that pointed out Meghan's guests either have shows on Netflix or have the same agent. I don't see evidence that people are queuing up to work with her, and after the way she spoke to Mindy in the first series you can see why. More importantly, most celebrities go on programmes that advance their own profile, Meghan gets all the headlines (good and bad) for anything she does so why would they bother.

CT has millions of followers but are they genuine or are they following as rubber neckers ? Either way, I guess it doesn't matter to vacuous people like M and CT , it's all about the clicks.

It matters financially to MM if she has 1m followers and CT has 40m followers. Wonder what’s in it for CT?

This made me look at the engagement on her Insta reels, it's minuscule in relation to the number of her followers, a few hundred thousand here and there.. Meghan gets far more views on her personal insta reels, but barely gets anything on her Asever account, despite the manic PR..

It’s probably part of her “ rehabilitation” Spectre8 will be pleased!

This has been posted elsewhere, I don't know how posters find this stuff, but its from a business drinks magazine, who are reporting they suspect the provenance of the wine is not Napa at all, but Sonoma valley (I guess that is something important to wine connoisseurs).

They also mention the influencer angle of marketing her wine, apparently the Kardashian fans didn't appreciate it, they repeated some of the comments, one said 'its like a gift from a grandma', I guess the Americans have spoken.😜

I read the article - don't think the As Ever products really qualify as 'farm-to-fork'.

We did have that poster who was having some brought from the states by family but she seems to have disappeared (or she’s name changed and is still here) around the same time she said she was receiving the wine - the white one, not the rose.
