It’s been 14 hours since the launch of the 2024 Rose. Nothing has sold out. This is despite it being designed again as a scarcity drop, so it can’t be argued she’s finally got her stock levels right.

• As ever stated the wine launch going ‘live’ at on the 5th August. Language designed to get you to rush and buy. Just like all this SM shopping you get now.
• Meghan put out a message many hours ago, stating that they have so much more stock (sad clapback to stuff not shifting) but hurry and be quick because it’s selling fast!!! (It’s clearly not)
• This launch however, has attracted very little press compared to previous drops

The scarcity gimmick is already tired and because she’s been absent from SM for 2 months…save for a few stock images/videos- she’s lost any momentum she had. She’s putting in bare minimum and her customer base feel it. She’s checked out.

There’s been talk of another series of WLM 3 and Meg getting a new NF contract, but I think that is just to fill the void until she can get WLM2 out. At which point, we will find out if there is any truth in any further deals.

The reason why I doubt WLM3, is that for continuity, you would need the same venue. But the home is now being used to to host weddings etc, it’s no longer a private rental but one open to the public to rent. There’s no way Meg would film in that location now. In addition she would need to have gotten the go ahead already for WLM3 and be filming right now to be able to stick to a schedule. The fact that it isn’t already confirmed, it’s giving the signal that WLM is over (in addition to knowing NF deal is done)

Now if WLM is over, I don’t think she has the draw to pull people to As ever. She doesn’t engage with her fan base enough, she does the bare minimum of SM posts, which she hasn’t even achieved the last few months. The Shopmy page is dead too. This is why the new wine launch has barely registered and hasn’t sold out 14 hours later. Yes, there will be more stock but it’s been designed for a sell out so there won’t be huge numbers.

As ever I think will be slowly wound down. There will be WLM2, with maybe another 18 months of drops. Then like everything else, it will be dropped quietly. Everyone is starting to get a bit bored by the half hearted, very beige effort she’s put into her ‘business’ and have tuned out.

She will have to launch yet another version of herself very soon. We’ve had actress, feminist, activist, producer, philanthropist….now female founder. God knows what’s next!

Maybe she can’t persuade anyone else to appear ?

TBF there are parallels to be drawn with C3's equally ill advised yet insisted on associations with Savile whose predilictions were an acknowledged 'open secret' and couldn't have passed his army of advisors by.

Royal asociation with unsavoury characters to promote their own ends sadly isn't a new thing.

Back when I used to read BuzzFeed, they were regularly pushing CT's "hilarious clap backs" all the time, at the same time as pushing the "my Queen of England" schtick about Meghan when she was engaged.

They went quiet on CT after the bullying scandal, and I believe posted something in defence of Meghan, but nothing much since.

I assume that whatever CT was paying them to promote her clapbacks wasn't enough, but with Meghan it's interesting that they've gone quiet because as far as i could see, they were just reflecting the interest/popularity/BLM angle, rather than being paid - it wasn't constant coverage like CT got.

Take your point, however, I do think in C3 defence JS was a master manipulator and I doubt the extent of his predilections were part of the 'open secret'. I'm quite sure in a lot of circles any negative talk would have been filed under 'rumour and gossip' because, well it's Jimmy Saville. His reach was wide and the people taken in were many, including in more recent times Louis Theroux who, while he was making his documentary, received letters from two girls abused by Saville which he discarded as not being credible, something which he hugely regrets now..

Anyway, I certainly don't want to derail this thread and spend anymore time on that awful man so will leave that there.

There is no 'open secret' around CT, she has shown us who she is in her own words. Obviously 40m others don't care about this either so MM is not alone there, but then 40m other people aren't styling themselves as philanthropists and spokespeople for keeping children safe from harm on the internet.

Most normal people, I'm assuming, wouldn't like to be so ridiculed or disliked and if they had this level of criticism aimed at them, would reflect on the reason why and change their behaviour. We know that despite denying it, they do look at social media and so can't be oblivious to all the things written about them.
I can only conclude that they are either stupid or so arrogant that they think there is nothing wrong with what they are doing .
It takes a special type of hubris to carry on like this.

I genuinely think that they both think they are dazzlingly brilliant and that we are wrong/ stupid for not seeing that.

They probably concluded after seeing shit like well why dont they just go be quiet ...go quiet for a few months and still see 'where are they' comments and more bitchy comments which dont stop. So they cant do anything right, you want them quiet, they go quiet, you dont like they go quiet so they don't and round and round. So good for them just crack on regardless what else should they do, some are never satisfied

We would probably be “ more satisfied” if they actually gave a thought to what they WERE doing, Chrissy Teigan case in point!

And if your child bullied another would you never forgive them...would you cast them out of the house and never speak to them? Im just asking because its seems like if you so something horrible then show remorse and apologise then you should never be forgiven..so I wonder if it was your own child? Or mother or father or best friend or partner? Would you never forgive them..

There's a difference between someone being forgiven in the example you give and a person being featured in a series with a person who is allegedly all about anti bullying.

They are desperate media hogs who need to make a buck or several.

She is a narcissist - it's the only explanation. She has been reared by two divorced parents to believe she was special . She is oblivious to reality. She entered the world of showbiz and worked out how to prosper in that - wear the right clothes, go to the right places, sit on the right old mens' knees, get her image out there. She then lucked out with Harry being dazzled by her and here we are. He reinforced her idea of herself. As to how that is going who knows. I knew someone like this - they really believed they were special! They lied and exaggerated their life. They thought everyone admired and loved them.

I’m afraid I see absolutely no comparison between school yard bullying and an adult celebrity bullying and telling a teenager to kill herself with an increasingly aggressive attitude!

So you can forgive your child and your child goes on to work etc maybe even do public stuff..so you think noone should ever give them a job or a platform? Why would any company want to hire someone who bullied someone after all every company has anti bullying policies. So a person if are remorseful and changed should basically be persona non grata for the rest of their lives?

A child or adult child what ever age they do it at...bullying is still bullying right.

Do you apply the same logic to a child who hits another with a toy and and an adult who hits another person with a baseball bat? As in, treat them as exactly the same act, with exactly the same level of awareness and culpability?

Are we saying CT is somehow MMs’ secret child? Are MM and CT being likened to toddlers?

sometimes people only understand their own type of logic, they should be left to discuss it with themselves.

An adult was bullying a child - why are you trying to apply some odd logic or justification to that.
