It’s been 14 hours since the launch of the 2024 Rose. Nothing has sold out. This is despite it being designed again as a scarcity drop, so it can’t be argued she’s finally got her stock levels right.

  • As ever stated the wine launch going ‘live’ at on the 5th August. Language designed to get you to rush and buy. Just like all this SM shopping you get now.
  • Meghan put out a message many hours ago, stating that they have so much more stock (sad clapback to stuff not shifting) but hurry and be quick because it’s selling fast!!! (It’s clearly not)
  • This launch however, has attracted very little press compared to previous drops

The scarcity gimmick is already tired and because she’s been absent from SM for 2 months…save for a few stock images/videos- she’s lost any momentum she had. She’s putting in bare minimum and her customer base feel it. She’s checked out.

There’s been talk of another series of WLM 3 and Meg getting a new NF contract, but I think that is just to fill the void until she can get WLM2 out. At which point, we will find out if there is any truth in any further deals.

The reason why I doubt WLM3, is that for continuity, you would need the same venue. But the home is now being used to to host weddings etc, it’s no longer a private rental but one open to the public to rent. There’s no way Meg would film in that location now. In addition she would need to have gotten the go ahead already for WLM3 and be filming right now to be able to stick to a schedule. The fact that it isn’t already confirmed, it’s giving the signal that WLM is over (in addition to knowing NF deal is done)

Now if WLM is over, I don’t think she has the draw to pull people to As ever. She doesn’t engage with her fan base enough, she does the bare minimum of SM posts, which she hasn’t even achieved the last few months. The Shopmy page is dead too. This is why the new wine launch has barely registered and hasn’t sold out 14 hours later. Yes, there will be more stock but it’s been designed for a sell out so there won’t be huge numbers.

As ever I think will be slowly wound down. There will be WLM2, with maybe another 18 months of drops. Then like everything else, it will be dropped quietly. Everyone is starting to get a bit bored by the half hearted, very beige effort she’s put into her ‘business’ and have tuned out.

She will have to launch yet another version of herself very soon. We’ve had actress, feminist, activist, producer, philanthropist….now female founder. God knows what’s next!

They've just advertised for 3 separate nannies,

I’m going to take a shot at guessing they’ve advertised for 3 so the children don’t become attached to any one of them in particular over their parents.

Ladedahlia · 12/08/2025 14:15

CoffeeCantata · 12/08/2025 13:54

I don’t agree with everything they have done but I do feel sorry for her actually.

@Ploachedplorridge

I don't believe she was nerdy at school. That's a trendy boast of many glamorous celebrities who want to appear 'deep' and intellectual. I know - it's just my opinion, but I'm not feeling it!

I think they've both behaved shockingly in the past few years, hurting and betraying close relationships and damaging other people. I can't like them because of that and I don't feel sorry for them.

But I don't want them to fail - I'm squeamish about 'train wreck' scenarios in general. I find their recent enterprises embarrassing and yes, comical in some ways. I wish a comfortably wealthy life for them and their children, away from the glare of publicity, and necessarily away from LA and its ruthless celebrity culture.

So I genuinely wish them well as a family but I don't like the way they're carrying on at present - messing up relationships with charities (and damaging the charities) and trying to pretend that Meghan makes up lunch boxes etc for the kids. They've just advertised for 3 separate nannies, so it doesn't exactly speak of hands-on parenting. Poor kids - 3 nannies and their parents to accommodate every single day. I think they're phoneys.

Three Nannies? Really? That’s really peculiar. Neither of them work and the children are both at school. Poor kids.
How do you know about the adverts?

It was for 3 shifts of 8 hours each. Will try and find the link. I’m sure these people will be top- flight nannies so it gives some idea of the staff wage bill in Montecito?

Really suggests they don’t parent at all. I wonder what happened to the previous three? 🤔

Profhilodisaster · 12/08/2025 14:22

Apparently it's been advertised using a system called ICIMs (I use this system so know it's legit) whether the actual advert is real or not 🤷‍♀️

Interesting. It seems to be for one role though.

Yeah I would say it’s advertising one position but is a job share with the other nanny who needs to reduce her hours as she has her own children and wants to come back part time.

HonoriaBulstrode · 12/08/2025 14:29

I was going to say they don't need a night time Nanny when the children are 4 and 6, surely. But then I suppose it's to cover when H or M or both of them are away.

what are the daytime nannies doing while the children are at school - or kindergarten or whatever Lili does?

The advertisement lists duties such as tidying the children’s spaces and doing their laundry, so some light household chores are part of the role. Personally, that’s not something I’d want to take on in a nannying job, but I’m sure others would be fine with it.

There’s also a light administrative aspect, as the nanny would be responsible for coordinating appropriate activities and schedules for the children. I’m not sure whether that would fill most of the day, though. It’s possible the role is only paid for time spent directly with the children, with the rest of the day left free—perhaps explaining the unusual shift pattern?

Looks like Doria has moved out so that’s why they need the night cover

What do the night Nannie’s do when they’re all at home? Must be a cushy job.

bluegreygreen · 12/08/2025 15:34

Where did the 3 x 8 hr shifts come from?

That advert reads to me like one for a single person for 50 hrs/week (maybe 8-6 M-F?), with the previous nanny now doing an assistant role with more 'family friendly' hours.

Is there more to the ad that I'm not seeing?

MavisandHetty · 12/08/2025 15:36

Thedom · 12/08/2025 11:16

I wouldn't be surprised if the kids feature in the xmas edition ! Desperate times lead to desperate measures.

Yup. This is an "eat what you kill" deal. If they don't kill, they won't eat. Desperation to earn enough money will force them to do it. I hope they don't. I hope they cut back on costs rather than sell out their children.

The reality show (however glossy and stylish it may end up being) is where they've been heading from the start. It's all anyone is interested in, and even that interest wouldn't last more than a series because they don't do anything interesting and aren't interesting people. So once everyone has seen their family dynamic and their house and their leisure time, and seen what renegade royals are like when they're at home (which of course wouldn't be the real them, but at least it'll be a sighting of what they want people to think of them), there won't be anything else to see.

It's very sad. I really wish they would quietly pipe down, just be private people living non-high profile lives. They can wail all they want that the press follows them and not the other way round: that's demonstrably false (except for the Daily Mail).

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 12/08/2025 15:42

Maybe the nannies are to look after Harry.

Or maybe like some use parent they need overnight cover. Do yo uthink the same about any parent needing childcare or grandparents help? What about people who have cleaners...i mean are they too lazy to clean their own house? Because by your reasoning it would mean that.

Do you have kids? Did you ever have someone else look after your kids.. ?

Lol at a parenting forum where some people are criticising parents for getting some help.

Where's Doria?

Profhilodisaster · 12/08/2025 17:14

Yes and yes because I was a single parent working full time, plus some weekends.
I wasn't loafing about in a mansion doing sweet FA .

hepsitemiz · 12/08/2025 17:30

@Profhilodisaster , do you know what Stop The Silence training is?

The job ad said candidates must be “willing to complete our Stop the Silence training”…

Puzzledandpissedoff · 12/08/2025 17:32

I wondered that myself, @hepsitemiz - the only thing I can find is this:

hepsitemiz · 12/08/2025 17:35

hepsitemiz · 12/08/2025 17:36

Could’ve done with a bit of that when I was a kid

AtIusvue · 12/08/2025 17:43

The fact that the nanny is responsible for the kids laundry etc…fits why the kids are always in supermarket style tops and leggings. Easy to wash and dry.

It’s so strange to me, Meg who clearly thinks she understands fashion and spends a great deal of time and money on her outfits, dresses her kids in such a haphazard way. Lilis dresses are almost always too big, the Disney dress she wore was far too thin for anywhere outside of the beach, otherwise she’s in leggings and her hair is unbrushed. Archie’s is always in the same long sleeved top and jeans regardless of the weather.

No they aren’t dolls to dress up but show some interest/care in the kids clothes.

This seems to be quite a specific course on childhood trauma, I can understand a family requiring a nanny to be trained in paediatric first aid but childhood trauma 🤔
ETA: unless it's for Harry?

Weepixie · 12/08/2025 17:59

Ive always put that down to Archie perhaps having sensory issues or a particular liking for clothes that don’t change much and I’m quite sure it’s nothing to do with a lack of interest in what he wears. In fact I’d go as far as saying his needs are being met in a positive way.

Lilibet - she does look like a wee tinker at times with her hair and her clothes but I think it’s good that she’s not dressed up like a wee mannequin.

I was wondering about Doria too. When they first went to the USA I'm sure I read an article saying they wouldn't need a nanny as Doria would be living in and providing child care.
