She will probably use it to her advantage like she did her estranged Uncle when she was busted lying in the UK court case. The rumour online is that accusations against Thomas will be made or alluded to when he is no longer around to defend himself or threaten legal action over false claims. Could all be rubbish of course. Let’s hope when the time comes she can grieve her father in peace if that’s what she wants.

Easy. Meghan will write a book, make a show or something about their relationship to a) make $$ and b) try and stay in the spotlight. It will likely be as shit as everything else but she’ll do it anyway. It will also be very convenient as I suspect a lot of history will be re-written but the person will be dead so unable to point that out.

Why? How many ex-spouses attend each other’s funerals? I’d think a very small number. And how many estranged people attend funerals. Again, likely small number. So, why would Doria/Meghan be any different?

There will be implications made that he was horribly abusive and that is why Meghan had to go NC with him. Certainly not because Meghan didn’t want her loud, brash, embarrassing Dad who didn’t fit the image being projected, to walk her down the aisle and who might help all the skeletons to come tumbling out the closet when he got pissed at the reception.

Owe him? No more than a MNer on here who is NC with a parent, or is divorced from an ex. They wouldn't be told they "owe it" to attend the funeral.

If you're NC it's because you've decided the relationship with the person has broken down irreparably so that can include the person's funeral if that's how you feel. A funeral is a ceremony to celebrate their life, recall memories about them etc.

But really @Yellowbananasarebetterthangreen is right. It’s not anything to really wonder or even think about and up to his family and friends when the time comes. Also who attends doesn’t attend again had no impact on the wider world outside of his own circle of family and friends.

She is being paid for these things. By private companies who can decide or not to pay her. They choose to. God forbid the woman tries to make a living. As with all content, people can choose or not to watch it. People who hate her can't seem to stop watching/ listening/ reading every single morsel of information about her, true or not ( most of it not true because it's made up by people who have never met her) Then people pay her to do stuff because she gets publicity. That keeps her in the spotlight. Everyone who hates her knows this but they just can't resist. It must be a full time job.
