It’s nice to contrast the somber dignity of Charles and other world leaders in Poland, versus the personal warmth, compassion and charm of Catherine with the survivors.

I love these photos of Catherine, she real is a credit to the Royal family.

Wrong year in title but I’ve also been watching, can recommend the centre near Newark for a visit, they often have survivor talks.

It's a very sombre day for many.

Queen Camilla gave a very good speech a few days ago, warning against complacency

I have just lit my candle. What a beautiful service.

Very poignant and beautiful services, with lovely candid photos of the attendees, I loved Williams speech. Very hard too comprehend the lack of humanity which leads to these atrocities.

Some stunning photos of William and Catherine, along with Charles looking particularly healthy in the photos from Poland.

In the morning I read Primo Levi's poem - If this is a man. I watched the programmes - well - took my eyes off a few times.
I am a product of WW2.
To the credit of someone in my family, there is a series of books on the shelf - a pictorial record of WW2, no doubt published soon after the war.
Prince Philip's mother lived at some point at Buckingham Palace, but I don't know for how many years. I wonder if a young Charles had a chance to ask her questions about her life, the sort that you wish you'd asked later in your life.

I have just seen coverage of Charles touring Auschwitz, I think after the ceremonies and laying a wreath. I'm so glad that he made it a priority to be there (and it is on behalf of us all) and also to visit the Jewish Centre in Krakow which he has financially supported.

well, that is his "job".

Thought the London service was lovely.
Watched part of the Auschwitz one aswell.

Both beautifully done.
Wasn't the man who played the Schindlers List song in London on the Double base a absolute gift? Wasn't he lovely?
