Richard Eden article - explains why ARO was launched too early?

Wasn't sure whether to add this onto an existing thread, but felt it was distinct enough to merit it's own, and didn't want to resurrect a really old thread.

Richard Eden claims he was about to release a story about ARO, that's why Meghan launched ARO on Instagram apparently prematurely.

It's certainly an explanation why it was launched and then nothing else has happened. I've never understood why any brand would launch with absolutely nothing to sell. The IG account is losing thousands of followers every week, and there still nothing. No teasers about the NF show, other than other accounts mentioning the jam we can't even be sure that will be a potential product.

From a marketing standpoint it's like a How Not To Launch a Brand masterclass.

Sounds like bollocks to me. Richard Eden presents as an unreliable kind of character, in my opinion. ARO was announced early a) because they thought it would take off under its own steam and b) to distract from the Prince and Princess of Wales. Nothing the Harkles do is without malice.

I have always wondered why her company suddenly stalled after a big blaze of publicity. This explanation could be it although I still can't see why they went into panic mode about it.

What's your excuse for all the criticism they've had from the US? Bigger salty island? Lots more rotting sardines? 👀. If you're being paid for your PR efforts someone's wasting their $$$.

Can never understand the reasoning of despising a whole country to support a prince and duchess of the said country who Harry by his own actions has shown much more racism than these supposed sardines racism to Meghan.

She is an absolute walking disaster area.

I can just imagine what it's like working for her...I've had a glimpse of bosses like Meghan, but luckily only a glimpse.

She will have some crazy, unworkable ideas - often the result of an impulse - and want it all to be realised 'yesterday!'. She'll breathlessly brief her poor staff, who will do what they're paid to do and try to give her advice - probably to take a deep breath, take a step back , consider carefully etc etc. But that's not what she want to hear, so she'll have a tantrum and expect them to do the impossible.

Like the story of Rumpelstiltskin where he sets the girl the task of spinning a room full of straw into gold overnight.

She'll then create hell when these poor people fail to do the task they told her was impossible. No wonder they all walk out!
