He didn't say that publicly though.
It was reported by a 3rd party who clearly spoke about a remark made in (what he clearly thought was a private space) by someone who was shocked and grieving. A classic breach of confidence.
Now you could argue the BRF should just have to always be conscious they are never truly alone and just need to suck it up as one of the perks/downsides of their position.
But I'm not going to criticise a man for a single remark made in the midst of shock, grief and trauma.
