Is this a hoax or did Elton John really tear into her in his speech at the Rock Awards?

What did he say?

I'm not sure he said anything! It just came up on my feed that he called her a liar and a grifter. Seems unlikely. Otherwise it would be all over the news

I just watched a YouTube video on this - it surely can’t be true.

Wasn’t it Elton and Sheryl Crow making jokes? I saw something online will try and find it again.

It wasn't big news - about a month ago, wasn't it?

But it must have stung a bit at the time - what with Diana and Elton being such good friends. But water under the bridge now
