That would make no sense. The WC (leaving aside, obviously, small, isolated, static rural communities in the past) has always been a large, largely urban, mobile population group with far fewer restrictions on who to have children with. ‘In-breeding’ not generally an issue, apart from specific groups that routinely practice cousin marriage.
