Queen Elizabeth drops the puck

There have been a couple of references on other threads of the late Queen dropping the puck at a Vancouver Canucks game. I thought people might like to see the whole clip. I note the announcer says she will sit in the Royal box (I didn’t know hockey arenas had a Royal box) and that she will watch the first period of the game. 😁She seems to be enjoying herself, though. Nice to see Wayne, there.

This will sound stupid, but for some bizarre reason Pierre Trudeau looks a bit like Wayne Gretsky.

Cheekbones?

Could be. Gretsky actually is nicer looking as there is no sort of smug look and his face is more open. (Just my opinion) I'm only familiar with Wayne Gretsky from a Canadian friend that I had when I worked in Scotland (I'm Australian) in the 1980s. She was a bit of a fan and showed me photos. Obviously he was 20 years younger than he is in the picture with QEII and I think was still playing hockey. If I remember correctly, the younger Gretsky had sharper features. He was maturing very nicely.
