The poll wasn't asking if they wanted him to be POTUS or be in anyway involved in US politics - it was just to find a person both Rs & Ds looked on favourably. That's great news for Britain when it comes to influence & aoft diplomacy.

And he is happily married, has good, friendly relationships with his wife's family, his father & his aunts & uncles & his cousins.

I don't think the fact he currently has a strained relationship with his brother & sister-in-law (who are also estranged from her family) really indicates much tbh.

Overall, his family relationships seem pretty happy and strong. Lots of people have 1 relation they don't get on with.

Putin is a murderer. I really don't think he's that popular in Russia let alone the West

I've noticed recently that there's been a disturbing trend amongst the Right Wing and some of the ultra Left Wing to view Putin positively. As some sort of "strong leader".

I don't understand it, but I've seen it.

I can’t say I’ve seen it. I doubt many in the U.K. would poll him highly

@MrsFinkelstein I think we are way behind the 8th ball (no idea what that actually means lol) when it comes to bots and internet manipulation. The Russians are brilliant at it and it would be quite easy to give the impression people think Putin is a strong leader etc. a few nutters do believe it but AI manipulation is at a whole new level now and half the things I see I don't believe.

@CloudyMcCloud , no not people I follow, but I've seen comments posted on both UK & US sites like Twitter, Instagram, news sites etc.

Not large numbers, but definitely present.
