It seemed as if Lionel Ritchie's voice is not what it once was, which saddened me.

I read that lots of acts said no, due to prior commitments, Tours, or just not wanting to associate themselves with the Royals.

It did seem a very random line up!

“Stardust” is called Rule the World. It was probably vetoed as sending the wrong message..

I thought the light animations , particularly the whale , were incredible .
The concert itself I'm not sure about , there were so many 'bits' and different styles of music I'm not sure it flowed well, not dance fest that's for sure . Take That were the best and I'd have loved to have heard more from Andreas Bocelli .
It was very relevant to Charles and his interests though .

i had low expectations, didnt watch from the beginning, and even i enjoyed Take That, and i hate them!

I enjoyed it all the more for the MN thread running alongside last night. Some good craic.

None of the pop stars sang in tune/key, so either they were all having a massive off day or they’re just not very good. Take That were the best of a woeful bunch. Paloma Faith was absolutely horrendous!

I enjoy these big concerts, though. They’re a spectacle and the commentary on MN is very funny.

I was there in one of the seats. All of us at the back could see a large screen.

I enjoyed the concert overall, and found the less enjoyable bits enhanced by the witty comments from MN members. We were in tears of laughter at some of them!
