Beautiful, happy photos 😃

No. I was thinking more Vogue/Tatler rather than the tabloids. I thought you were saying 'hopefully not' as in we won't have an RF

To be fair, even if the poster was saying it in that way, they’re allowed. This board is for discussing anything about the Royals, even getting rid of them.

Pineapples87 · 02/05/2023 20:46

@Maireas I also think she features Lady Sarah Chatto. Also the Queen.

What happy pictures. I'm glad that her parents share birthday pictures of her and her brothers, devaluing any potential pap shots. The images are controlled. They're usually taken by Kate and you can see that the children are relaxed and happy. She reminds me of Sarah Chatto at that age.

Yes. Sarah Chatto. That's who she reminds me of. I knew it was someone but couldn't think who.

Babyroobs · 02/05/2023 21:02

Apparently sporting a £35 Boden jumper ( the stripy one).

CouchToOuch · 02/05/2023 21:07

She is adorable 🥰

WinnieTheW0rm · 02/05/2023 23:01

I like the picture with the dog

ThePoshUns · 02/05/2023 23:17

Very sweet. She looks like her Dad.

Any more special than any other eight year old? My little neighbour is happy and photogenic too.

I don't think anyone was implying that she is the only pretty & photogenic eight year old....?

And, yes, I wish she was the heir too.

They want their privacy that is until there is Coronation to sell to a somewhat indifferent public. Bit like Camberwick Green at the moment - introducing a new royal onto the roundabout every day. I suppose at least it's not horses or corgis yet. Introducing Andrew's Folly - a 3-year-old thoroughbred from the Royal Stud.

WinnieTheW0rm · 03/05/2023 10:25

They must have had crystal balls to know when Princess Charlotte needed to be born, to ensure it coincided with the run up to the Coronation so her pic would be simply to ensure good PR. And presumably the annual birthday photographs of all their other DC were just a stealth plan so we didn't notice the true purpose?

Not indifferent round here. Bunting going up everywhere on my journey home this am.

On a drive from Gravesend to Welling both Brexitee places in Kent I counted the domestic bunting/flags in windows that I passed (whilst paying due care and attention to the road obviously) (as opposed to Council etc). It was 20 for what was a 25-minute drive. In Gravesend Town Centre I counted 7 businesses with window displays - one bank (I think Lloyd's, a lot of charity shops (probably something to do with the age of the volunteers) and most other businesses, a big nowt - including Primark and Costa Coffee. Villages are a different kettle, Parish Councils have probably pulled out the 3 line whip along with the Squire.

Well If we are talking nonsense about sneaky, devious planning for kiddie birthdays to coincide with coronations, someone else schemed it better.

What would be the purpose there do you think…?

Sudeko · 03/05/2023 11:09

I've never noticed the strong resemblance to William. Since William looks a lot like Diana, she may even look similar to Diana when she grows up. She is a combination of Spencer and Windsor.

It's party central where I am. Very little indifference here.

Well, what would you expect from a place called Gravesend? Its hardly the fun capital of the south. 🙄 Come join in our celebrations!

Oneglassisnotenough · 03/05/2023 12:33

Gorgeous child and so very much like her Great Grandmother ❤️

soberfor15years · 03/05/2023 12:34

She looks vaguely like various relatives but mostly her own person.

I’m sure she will be absolutely stunning when she grows up

When people say ‘party central’, I absolutely know it won’t be my idea of a party. 🤓

Bah humbug me and my Scrooge like counting the baubees.... if the weather was good I might suppress my Republican bent and enjoy central London in a specific and ironic way as Boris might have said but since rain is expected I'll be shouting at the telly. 😉

@leopardspice you really can. I think in 10 years she will be a regular cover star like her Mum!

For her sake, I do hope not.

kirinm · 03/05/2023 13:18

No evidence of any interest in the coronation here. Most people are just referring to it as another bank holiday weekend.

I think she's a cute kid. Looking extremely grown up now.
