It seems a little inconsistent for the warriors against racism

I see 2 people have misunderstood why I brought up Philip. I am fully aware that the Queen and Philip were ruled out as the people who asked about skin colour - I used Philip in the context of William’s statement that the Royal Family are/were/could not possibly be racist.

Don't forget when he told a black comedian he didn't sound black and when he called a French bartender a frog. Such a lovely guy that Harry is.

Do you actually think that if a racist person did not make a racist statement once that absolves them of racism? Really. Why do you think people went for Philip as the likely culprit?

I just went by H&M's statement that PP didn't make the comment!

1. Harry denied meghan called the RF racist and it had all been the press, so there was no racism accusation to counter.
2. Soooo harry and meghan have a right to privacy and a private life (meghans own words) but the royal family don't? So they're not human beings who have any rights because they are funded by us? They also fund themselves like many wealthy landowners, but lets ignore that. So if I fund a charity to do good work on my behalf, I have the right to know everything about their private lives?

Not every black person in Cape Town is 'poverty stricken', you know? Many are middle class professionals, and some quite wealthy business owners, and everything in between 😂

The whole families on each side should, with love and forgiveness, simply try to meet, let the grandchildren see both grandfathers. No one is saying they all have to be constantly visiting - just maintain a bit of normal family decency.

What else was he meant to say? Seriously, his grandfather was dying, was he meant to acknowledge his family’s racism at a time of great stress and in a situation where the question was thrown at him while he was on his way to an event? There's such a thing as the right time and place. Harry and meghan didn't seem to consider the effect it would have had on Queen Elizabeth as well, for someone they supposedly claim to love and be fond of, to do the interview during a time when her husband was dying, and supposedly she wasn't at her best health either.

I lived there for 15 years. Worked in the non-profit sector. Met, supported and then adopted DD.

You have to feel sorry for Scammy and Thomas Jr.

Still have good friends and DD's birth family and friends there, living in the townships. Meghan doesn't register on anyone's international awareness scale

I also pay the school/university fees for a number of young people whose families - because of historic oppression - wouldn't otherwise be able to go a good school/university.

I can confirm that none were dancing in the streets when H&M got married - it just wasn't on anyone's radar. A non-event.
