Royal outfits for Easter

Just seen some photos of the royals from this mornings church service. Wasn't too keen on Kate's. That blue was too vibrant. But very smart just the same. Camilla's was ok but a bit boring.

Beatrice's was by far the best. . That very pale pink was lovely. And the style reallt suited her. Sophie's was very disappointing that awful hat. And she usuually looks great. Zara Tindall. It was dreadful So unflattering and the bright pink. She needs a stylist

Kate is wearing dark coloured nail varnish. I haven't seen that before, I think because the late Queen favoured neutral coloured polish.

Yes. I Just saw that too. I wonder if Charles got an edict sent out. Red varnish now allowed. He is definitely proving to be a very modern aything goes monarch. Whatever next.

Are the girls’ dresses meant to be above knee? It almost has a trying-to-get-one-more-wear out of it feel which obviously doesn’t apply to the royal family..

I loved Kate’s outfit, I think her colouring suits vibrant colours. But agree that Beatrice also looked lovely.

I also thought that Charlotte’s and the younger Tindall girl’s dresses looked like they had outgrown them, but Kate is known for rewearing dresses so I guess she applies the same to her daughter.

I'm not a fan of the red nails. I personally think she looks nicer with neutral.

I liked the coat and colour and the nails. I wish she'd go a bit more all out glam for evening occasions, with the nails and makeup.

Interesting that Camilla and Kate wore matching colours.

Eugenie looked elegant in her pregnancy, I thought.

All cheerful.. Easter is a gorgeous family time and at a great time of year.. The BRF look united and the young kids are really growing up and making fun memories together.

Princess Royal looked very smart, colours just right I thought. Too much blue among the others. Children look to have all had a growth spurt, especially James and Charlotte, who looks like she’s inherited Diana and William’s height. I bet PssofW got that frock out, put it on her and thought oh heck, never mind, woolly tights and we might get away with it! It was about 6 inches too short, which is probably how much she’s grown since she last wore it 🤣.

Kate is known for rewearing dresses so I guess she applies the same to her daughter.
It is insane to me that this is something notable. I can't believe people expect anyone to not wear an outfit multiple times, or that it is some kind of distinctive habit to do so. Royal or not, makes no difference.

Didn't take long for this nice thread to get derailed. Don't know why people who hate the RF spend their days trawling the RF topic for things that apparently raise their blood pressure. 🤷‍♀️

I think there was a bit too much blue on show, the RF need to start a family WhatsApp entitled 'what colour are we wearing today'...communication is key!

Unusually, I thought Kate's coat dress was too long. It would have looked better finishing just below the knee. Zara's dress did not best show her figure, Sophie looked lovely as did Camilla. Was Sarah Chatto in the cream hat? It also looked they're relaxing the precedent thing to me, what with W&K not arriving directly behind C&C, or do with just think Louis needed a wee and they said to the others, we'll catch up....

I really liked the style of Princess Anne's coat and the big buttons. Not sure about the colour. I wonder if it was new or one she had for years. It did look a bit retro.

Louise wasn’t there but her brother was - he was next to his Dad on the walk in - you might not have recognized him because he’s grown tall now.
