Yep, it's not uncommon. What is uncommon is to hold yourself up as some sort of enlightened being and write an international best seller about a particular teaching not making you feel horny because they had a tired face and greasy hair, and then recount in a light hearted way about how you used to take the piss out of the way they walked.
