Jimmy Kimmel read out a children's book. The Prince and the Penis. It's funny 🤣🤣twitter.com/JimmyKimmelLive/status/1615176712471601153?t=doHyN9AijyiUtBqeJP34kw&s=08

Very funny!!

And I don't even like Jimmy Kimmel

MarshaMelrose · 17/01/2023 12:48

Haha. I don't like Jimmy Kimmel either but that made me laugh!

Rainpigeon · 17/01/2023 16:15

Excellent! 😂

Bluekerfuffle · 17/01/2023 16:17

Not a Harry fan but this seems a bit cruel and very distasteful with Diana being dragged into it.

Iamclearlyamug · 17/01/2023 16:22

Hilarious 😂

Wheresthebeach · 17/01/2023 16:37

Well Harry dragged his mother into this...repeatedly. He never should have published a lot of what he has, but since he's brought it into the public domain its fair game.

It is funny...but also has that 'train wreck' feel about it. Did they really have no inkling how people would react? Are they that out of touch/deluded? I can't imagine he likes being laughed at like this.

queenofarles · 17/01/2023 16:53

i actually didn’t think it was that funny but he is very brave , he is hardcore and is not afraid to be on their naughty list 😂.

Ridemeginger · 17/01/2023 17:02

Kimmel's is an LA based show, isn't it (as opposed to Colbert, Corden etc in NY)? This might be indicative of how the native Hollywood royalty feel about H&M - a big joke.

MarshaMelrose · 17/01/2023 17:31

I didn't see Colbert and I can't be bothered watching it. Was Colbert laughing at Harry? Or with him?

queenofarles · 17/01/2023 17:31

I used to watch the Colbert report regularly , Stephen is more of a political host,
He’d tackle very big Political and social issues in a very intelligent and funny way , I’d say on par with Jon Stewart , very smart grown up tv hosts.

Not H&M level at all,

jimmy Kimmel, Fallon, and Ellen , these are more suited for H&M level,
smarmy and dull And so painful to watch .

And was Colbert intelligent and smart with Harry?

queenofarles · 17/01/2023 17:36

MarshaMelrose
don’t bother I fallow him on Twitter , it was so painful ,
during Trump presidency, Colbert was the funniest thing on TV.

Boulshired · 17/01/2023 18:00

How did no one around Harry tell him that a grown man’s penis and his dead mother should not be in a sentence. Was the relationship with the ghost writer so poor that he couldn’t tell him this was a bad idea. Is the book any different to what many thought on reading or worse hearing this recollection. This will be remembered long past Tiara, bullying, crying etc.

Ridemeginger · 17/01/2023 18:10

Colbert is anti Royal, for sure. But I got the impression there was as much laughing at Harry as there was laughing with in that interview. He's an old school, Southern gentlemanly type when you see him outside his comedy persona. Very intelligent. I imagine he thinks Harry is just a prick.

Ridemeginger · 17/01/2023 18:14

The person I am wondering about is Oprah. Have they not thrown her under the bus by backtracking on the racism claim? All the inference and gasping at Meghan's words was on Oprah's part, after all. And Oprah's bbf, Gail King, made a statement for them after the Oprah special, to confirm that The Queen and Prince Philip were not the culpable parties. Oprah is Hollywood royalty - not to be messed with! I wonder if she is thoroughly fed up with their change of narrative - it makes her look like a poor interviewer (which she is).

jeffgoldblum · 17/01/2023 18:16

Don't forget @Ridemeginger , Harry only said this in the U.K. interview not the US one , who knows if she's even seen it?

Ridemeginger · 17/01/2023 18:31

This is true, @jeffgoldblum . However, it's caused quite a ruckus on social media, so I wonder if it has filtered through to her. There's plenty of Brits in Hollywood too, who will be aware and gossip.

jeffgoldblum · 17/01/2023 18:32

Let's hope so 🤞

lollipoprainbow · 17/01/2023 18:34

Very childish and sick to be honest dragging Diana into it.

Boulshired · 17/01/2023 18:38

I think Oprah is happy with the money and publicity she got. She seems to have already taken a step back

In any other circumstances it would be Harry taking a justified swipe at using his mother memory like that. Unfortunately he’s the reason

GwenogJones · 17/01/2023 20:27

I assume the people who are saying 'distasteful bringing Diana into this' have not heard the extract, narrated by Harry himself, where he brings Diana into this? "my mother put this on her lips and you want me to put it on my todger?" being an actual quote from the book.
He opens the tube - and is transported back through time and it is like mummy is in the room with him. And then he massages it into his cock. Jimmy Kimmel just made it rhyme.

I think the real tragedy in all this is that "The Prince and the Penis" is a far far better children's book than "The Bench" could ever hope to be.

CathyorClaire · 17/01/2023 20:28

Absolutely this.

Oprah is laughing all the way to the bank.

Very childish and sick to be honest dragging Diana into it.

But miss, Harold did it first...

2013isback · 17/01/2023 23:49

I don't think it's appropriate for children. Granted, there's not much in it that's overtly sexual (besides the hard-on), but he says "todger" an awful lot.

Also his penis is not dressed appropriately for the climate; it is no wonder he got "frostnip". It looks like it's wearing a bed jacket.
