Aficionados of the Behaviour Panel will love this dissection (almost literally) of Harry.

I know! Pretty scathing! Not Harry’s biggest fans for sure,

Thanks for posting I hope the panel is right and the public will come to understand in time H&M ‘truth’ isn’t reality.

MeghanAndTheSeals · 14/01/2023 03:08

I would have preferred that they did an analysis on the Tom Bradby interview. I was surprised that I think TB did a better job than AC in the interview.

EpicChaos · 14/01/2023 03:29

I have watched some of it but 2 things stick out from what I've seen so far, both from Scott.

  1. The who's the boss thing, which did make me lol a bit and which I think was a fair point to an extent.
  2. When talking about halfwits comment about not knowing if he was a bigot in the past ( I know, riiiiiiiightttt!!! ) Scott says to the effect that halfwit may have said something in the past and is trying to make an excuse ready. Well Scott is right of course, we all know what halfwit has said in the past and whilst I wouldn't expect Scott/Americans in general to know about it, I did think that Mark would likely have known and it seemed odd he didn't inform Scott/viewers. Anyhoo, I'll watch the rest of it over the next few days but that was a couple of things that have stood out to me so far.

I thought exactly the same. I thought it perfectly unlikely that he would have known, but fully expected Mark to then do the big reveal.

AutumnCrow · 14/01/2023 03:38

It's very interesting how they each dissect what they're seeing differently, and without very much prior bias. They seem to think that H is very unhappy in his life.

Nimbostratus100 · 14/01/2023 03:41

I know Harry has put himself in this position, but he is so obviously on a different planet, out of touch with reality and has no true friends around him prepared to speak plainly to him, and the worldwide ridicule and scorn feels a lot like a mass pile on of the ND child in a playground - not saying Harry is ND, but he is uniquely vulnerable. Its sad and worrying to see

" the worldwide ridicule and scorn feels a lot like a mass pile on of the ND child in a playground - not saying Harry is ND, but he is uniquely vulnerable. Its sad and worrying to see "

Well maybe he shouldn't go round throwing stones at the big boys, then telling teacher tales, true or otherwise. Just a suggestion. He'll get no sympathy from me, after the big boys have a word with him behind the bike sheds at lunchtime! @Nimbostratus100

@MeghanAndTheSeals Exactly. Perhaps someone will mark their cards for them about that and that they mention it in another video.

Ridemeginger · 14/01/2023 04:12

I think the point of the analysis is not to look at the interview subject with pre judgement based on background knowledge of, e.g., Harry's documented racism. It's about how you can spot someone is lying to you in the moment, iyswim, during an interview or interrogation when you know nothing/little of the person, and want to spot if they are being truthful or withholding information. Their US audience will not have the full ins and outs of Harry's chequered past as UK audiences will, and they will have been more convinced by his recent interviews. For their benefit, pointing out that his superficial credibility is a smokescreen is a good thing, I think, without going into the background details - to do so could then allow a viewer to say, "Well, you only think that lip twitch means something because you have already pre judged him as a liar".

I think there's a very good chance they will cover the GMA and Colbert interviews. Mark did mention the ITV interview briefly, so I'm hoping they cover that one too (maybe posting a request in the comments will persuade them to analyse it). Having said that, Chase clearly hates having to watch H&M, he looks positively pained every time!

These guys have also covered the Oprah and Netflix interviews in detail. They are very interesting. Some of Harry's body language towards Meghan belies the facade of devoted worship.

daretodenim · 14/01/2023 08:13

I haven't seen these guys before. It's interesting. I'm not always sure about body language because it can vary, however, these guys have clearly spent hours now watching Harry, so would be familiar with his mannerisms.

MarshaMelrose · 14/01/2023 08:21

As long as they continue to get these big viewing figures from doing these analyses, they'll keep doing them. Poor Greg, though.

AutumnCrow · 14/01/2023 08:32

There’s also Jesus Enrique Rosas ‘the body language guy’ on You Tube. His videos are much shorter.

I don't know how to link but google 'the body language guy Meghan Charlotte'. It takes you to this video 'How Meghan's mask SLIPPED as Charlotte passed by!

I'm not sure what to think but judging by the slow motion footage Meghan viscerally hates Charlotte. Basically the page boys and flower girls walk past her at the wedding and she has a huge smile for all of them but when 3 year old Charlotte walks past her, the bride's smile freezes and she looks thunderous. Disturbing body language from Meghan.

I like the body language guy but I think he's much more biased. He shows really interesting clips and sometimes when he points things out, you can't unsee them. But I think he does overreach, though.

I had a gander at that. Is 'the look' really for Charlotte, or for Charlotte's dress that didn't get fixed properly in the mad rush of those last four days? As in, M is at the altar and noticing for the first time that Charlotte's dress hem is wonky?

I think it was because Anderson cooper is American and this was aimed at the American market.

I have seen him several times and I have reservations as it's clear he loathes Meghan and doesn't feel much better about Harry. He seems to look at the more superficial things. He mentions the dilated pupils as suspicious, whereas Gregg and the team point out taking cold and flu meds often have this effect. The Panel seem less biased, and they say when things are truthful.

The behaviour panels look at the McCanns interview 3 weeks after the disappearance was quite moving.

I'm not at all invested in hating or liking Megan and Harry but came on this thread for a skim read and ended up looking at that video recommended by a PP 'the body language guy Meghan Charlotte' and had to comment that if this is the sort of proof that people are hanging their hats on for Megan being a witch then the poor woman doesn't have a hope in hell in getting a fair shot. That video is a load of garbage and clearly the guy hates her. He is putting all these angry and emotive words against her rather nothing facial expression, with absolutely no proof she is thinking those things.

To me it just looks as if she is swallowing. I remember on my wedding day being so nervous that my lips shaked when I smiled and trying to relax my face when I got a chance, quite possibly pulling faces like that. Doesn't mean I hated anyone in eye shot.

purpledalmation · 14/01/2023 13:32

@Nightskyatnight I and others on here have said The Body Language Guy is pretty suspect and heavily biased. My post is about the link to the Behaviour Panel. A completely different set up and far more credible. They don't look at it in a superficial way and are not biased just rather weary of examining Harry's body language and his language generally.

Yes, I agree. It was one of the few sensible things around at the time.

I haven't seen the video and I dont know who Charlotte is, but I was thinking the same, not every expression that passes across my face is directed at who ever my eyes are pointing at at that moment, who knows what is going through someones mind, or what physical discomfort they are experiencing?

purpledalmation · 14/01/2023 14:14

@Nimbostratus100 Which is why the Behaviour Panel say just that pretty often. You can't apply a blanket explanation for every body movement and it must be taken as a whole along with establishing a baseline and looking at deviation from the baseline. Some have interrogated terrorists so it's not looked at superficially. Touching your nose may just mean it's itchy not that you are Pinocchio
