Didn't think there would be a day I'd see a Prince discussing his genitalia publicly on television...(his word for dick(?)-cushion is even bleeped out)

Full video:
Tale of the Todger begins around 31:00

As an Aussie in Australia, and pretty removed from the whole saga from the beginning, I thought he came across very well. I have no idea on the truthfulness of any of it, it's hard to see how anyone not 'close to the action' could, but I thought he was relaxed, relatable and surprisingly amusing. And he handled the whole todger topic (which he must have anticipated) with suitable self-deprecation, not embarrassed or defensive.

I may even read the book, although I'll wait till it's available from the library.

'What was the universe trying to say to me by depriving me of both my penis and my brother?'
'My penis was oscillating between extremely sensitive and borderline traumatised. The last place I wanted to be frostbitten.
'I'd been trying some home remedies, including one recommended by a friend. She'd urged me to apply Elizabeth Arden cream.
'My mum used to use that on her lips. You want me to put that on my todger...'
😃

It's sad that our society are hell bent on shaming him, because he refuses to play along with the false image of how people think he should be. That image is not him.
For the first time in his life he can be his authentic self, he's not looking for approval, he's done with that, look where that got him.
In life things often fall apart before they come back together healthier and stronger again, it's called transformation.

Completely agree with this. I have no idea why everyone despises him so much. They're believing everything the press (and probably 'the firm') want you to believe. Wake up and make your own impressions of him by listening to his own words and actions rather than the snippets that the British press will (are allowed to?!?!) show you

This.

'Time, as the doctor predicted, would fix my todger. When would it work its magic on my heart?' 😑

Absolutely agree. He's come out of the box others have put him in all his life and they don't like it because they'll lose their meal ticket.

I never realised how comedic he is, and how much charisma and wit he has. Thanks to the rotten royal family and the toxic effing british media we as a country have missed out on really getting to know him for years. He could have done so much for Britain and made the family look good. Instead each person in that cold-hearted family is obsessed with their own ego and image and he's better off without them! And we're stuck with the ultimate dullards W & K and C & C.

bakalava · 13/01/2023 10:20

His facial expressions and body language are completely off in relation to what he is saying. He needs to stop doing interviews if he wishes to be credible. You cannot be easily coached in these aspects of communication.
His family are the least of his problems. He needs psycho-sexual help in particular from an experienced professional to break the phallocentric thinking, not a quack therapist. In his book, he reveals how he forges these links between his penis and his brother, his penis and his heart, his penis and his dead mother and so on. It's all there, from Harry himself.

Blossomtoes · 13/01/2023 12:29

Who’s losing their meal ticket? Apart from Harry?

SequinsandStilettos · 14/01/2023 00:38

Thanks for posting. I really enjoyed the whole interview. He has charisma and humour and works well with the audience. Colbert (who, as a child, lost his Dad and two brothers in a plane crash) is a consummate professional.

PicturesOfDogs · 14/01/2023 02:11

I thought it started off well, but the end was so awkward. About 5 minutes before the end, when he was talking about ‘just like this experience is declining’.
Obviously it was a joke, but it went really awkward between the two of them, managed to pull it back with talks about watching the crown though.

I got the impression towards the end SC was getting a bit fed up with H keeping talking to the audience as well, at the beginning when he was doing it, SC was laughing along but by the end he was kind of not cracking a smile anymore, and trying to get him to answer the questions.
To be fair though, that was probably more to do with being conscious of time and having to get everything wrapped up

He blamed the media for “boasting”
he killed 25 Taliban. He says the media has taken his words out of context. Difficult to see how. He’s rowing back on his words now he’s realised what an idiot he’s been. The media didn’t write the book and comments have been aimed at the number and the chess pieces comment. He’s an utter fool.

Same with his denial of alleging his family is racist - he blames the Press. He's coming across as sly and deceitful.

PicturesOfDogs · 14/01/2023 02:41

Okay, so this is weird…

Many, many media outlets are reporting that Harry pretaped this interview, and there was no audience. The people who were supposed to be in the audience weren’t informed. They had travelled to see the show, and on the day were told H had recorded the interview the day before due to ‘security reasons’.

Its speculated there was a ‘different’ audience there instead.
Maybe that’s why SC was getting impatient with H addressing the audience all the time.

Seems it was either a planted audience, or there wasn’t one at all, and was edited in after?

All very odd

He was quite obviously joking about the group therapy 🙄

I think he comes across well

bakalava · 14/01/2023 15:10

Planted audience sounds completely plausible.

Is anybody screaming out "What about the context?" for any of the todger stories? 😂

I much preferred the image of harry that was previously portrayed. The media and his family helped craft an image of him as a likeable, cheeky chappy, loveable rebellious type. He was well loved

Now he's showing his 'authentic self', it's clear he's actually far from the likeable chap we thought he was. He's a narcissistic, self absorbed, arrogant and whiney child, who preaches to others while living a life of hypocrasy

TicketMasterMind · 15/01/2023 09:52

Thats v fake of PH if that’s the case and he was being interviewed without an audience and then he was doing lots of audience participation stuff.

Do we know if it’s true? Were they not calling his name?

Audience members said he was a surprise guest, taped it a day early.
Even if you hate Harry, you should have more respect for Colbert, who is an accomplished, reputable broadcaster with integrity.

Harry was likeable in this - the only slight edge/discomfort was the last five minutes, possibly because he knew how it would be taken and yes, context is everything Wink

That makes sense as a workaround the security issues. I couldn’t really square it that he was engaging with an empty theatre.

It also then makes sense that the audience were whooping so much at the start as it would have been a total surprise for them.

I wonder if they did that with Michelle O the week before?
