So idly reading an article on Sky about all the celebs mentioned in the book, and came across this.

Im fairly certain recovered memories are considered questionable - not admissible in court for example, and that there is a huge risk of exploitation and abuse by the therapist ‘planting’ memories and a high likelihood of things being ‘misremembered’.

There are issues as you say. Its normal for memories to be gappy and unreliable especially if trauma has occurred, and processing sometimes allows a wider perspective and missing bits come back. The thing is, the brain isn't really fussy about whether its true or imagined, so statements given to court after therapy can be questioned, quite properly but with upsetting results for victims. Don't think this is a reason to doubt his therapy or veracity though personally.

I remember it being in the papers when the princes met the Spice Girls, Cindy Crawford and a pair of glamour-type models known as The Barbie Twins. It definitely happened. There was some mild controversy about it at the time.

Yeah I am not questioning these accounts - it’s just where I saw it mentioned.

But it does make me wonder about some of the more questionable anecdotes, ones where he has repeatedly contradicted himself or where simple fact checking shows them to be impossible.
