These were such a fun, carefree couple. How different his life would be now had they stayed together. Chelsea was very much part of the aristo set, clever, savvy & very well educated. She knew exactly what royal life entailed & ran a mile when things got serious. Smart girl.

Why don’t you ask the lady personally about her heritage?
The whole point is that you can be British, African regardless of skin colour. However, you have bought up the fact that Chelsea was African and have still not explain why this has anything to do anything.
Chelsea would have fit in within the very homogeneous royal family while Meghan would not- her fight is regarding racism within the Firm which African Chelsea would not have experienced. Because she’s white.

I totally understand what you are saying. It's a very valid point. Meghan had much more obstacles in her path. Being American would have been hard enough from a cultural point of view but being of African American heritage definitely made it harder.

I'm not saying everyone attending private school is an aristocrat, that's insane! DH's cousin went to Stowe at the same time as Chelsy & said that Chelsy's particular group of friends were the aristos & this group mixed with the royals. Not saying that's how they or where she met Harry but this group were her set of friends.

He actually seemed happy with Chelsey. You never see him smile like that with Meghan. That’s what ending up with a narcissist will do to you.

As for The Queen looking down on Chelsey, weren’t her family near billionaires? Her Dad was one of the richest men in Zimbabwe. I find that very odd.

He is very happy with her - you can see it when they are together.

I don't think you can make a girlfriend/ex sign a NDA.
They have been very discrete, because they run with a set that values good manners and discretion. Harry used to as well.
Heaven only knows what his ex friends think of him now. But they are big enough people that we'll never hear.

it is a amazing how interlinked lots of the aristocratic families are.

You’d have to really know your family trees before sharing any gossip or having a moan about somebody.

His brother is Ivor Mountbatten, I think still the closest relation to the royals to have had a same sex marriage.
