Was this part of Harold's plan? Wonder will he & Meghan be invited. If they're wise they will steer well clear. This is putting a huge security threat on the event & on his family in L. A

maybe the nightwatch will hide these threads until mn can move them in the morning.

There are currently at least two threads in site stuff asking how to hide the royal family topic.

As for concern for Harry, you’re clearly so concerned that you’re happy to bring further attention to these claims by discussing how he is at risk yada yada yada.

Harry would be less at risk if he A, kept his gob shut, B, the press called his bluff and refused to publish any of his musings, and C, people like the OP and others stopped reading it.

Nurserymumm · 06/01/2023 05:25

@MayThe4th it's a fucking risk for all of us not just Harry! I'm concerned for all the population on the U. K, this was an insane move on his part. Why can't it be discussed?

www.telegraph.co.uk/royal-family/2023/01/05/prince-harry-military-army-afghanistan-killed-25-spare-sussex/

This article sums it up. I think special measures & other huge security measures will need to be taken for the coronation.

He's not very bright, is he?

MayThe4th · 06/01/2023 05:33

No, we’re no more at risk than we were previously.

If only 25 Taliban had been killed and Harry had come out and said he’d killed them, then maybe. But you do know that other Taliban were killed don’t you? And they’ve not come after us so far.

If Harry has put anyone at risk it’s himself. And frankly if the Taliban or their ilk come after him then he has no-one to blame but himself.

Meggan would do best to get shot of him at this point.

But the Taliban aren’t going to come after the British public because one person says he killed some of them at a time when numerous of them were being killed by British troops.

GoingtotheWinchester · 06/01/2023 05:37

Cancel the coronation then - totally unnecessary waste of money 🤷‍♀️

@GoingtotheWinchester

Couldn't have said it better myself

Countries on its knees, people are waiting days for ambulances and dying needlessly because our system is so underfunded.

Homeless people are dying needlessly because of an under funded service and people are dying because our mental health service is severely underfunded

But hey ho let's spend an absolute gross amount of money seeing in the new king while people are fucking dying of hunger and cold

What an embarrassment this country really is

Harry was an Apache helicopter pilot and served two tours of duty in Afghanistan. How could anybody think that he didn't kill people? He was in the regular army, not a humanitarian force. The Taliban learned about his role years ago once the news came out that he was serving in Afghanistan. The would have known that unless he was totally incompetent, he would have killed Taliban troops. Even without this, he would always be a security risk because of his position as a member of the Royal Family. I don't think the admission changes a thing in security terms. The only thing the book changes is to reinforce people's existing opinions (pro and anti) about him.

DownNative · 06/01/2023 06:21

Chris Ryan, a former SAS sergeant turned author and TV presenter, tweeted: "Very strange thing to announce considering that he left the UK in order to keep his family safe. Is it something that he thinks might endear him to a US [Military] fan base?"

Adouble amputee Afghanistan veteran who Harry called a "hero" has told Harry to shut up and questions the people he's got around him.

An MP who served in Northern Ireland and other places made the point that veterans and serving soldiers don't like to talk about this aspect of their service much. And they tend to regret having to kill. This is the way any army vet I know behaves including my father, so I think Harry is behaving like an idiot and likely exaggerating his number.

Either way, Harry doesn't look good at all in this one. Time now he shuts up, deal with any security concerns he has himself now and realises he's far more privileged than those globally who are struggling to survive.

Harry is completely tone deaf and needs to read the room. IMO.

Nurserymumm · 06/01/2023 06:24

Harry's tone deaf with no self awareness. Maybe this is a ploy to get the UK taxpayers to cough up for security for him if he becomes target numero uno for the Taliban.

I think you've posted this in the wrong place. I'll report it for you

Sux2buthen · 06/01/2023 06:26

Me too, just for reference OP there is a Royal Family section

Nurserymumm · 06/01/2023 06:28

Well if you want to get technical Harry is no longer a member of the royal family. He left remember 😏

OP posts:
Sux2buthen · 06/01/2023 06:32

Nobody wants to get technical, just not want to see any more of this drivelGrin
A lot of us spent time hiding this sad bollocks topic yesterday so hopefully mnhq will move it as it's been reported as in the wrong place by quite a few.
🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Nurserymumm · 06/01/2023 06:33

It's not drivel, it's a huge security concern especially with the coronation in May!

If it is, all the more reason Harry should be made to pay for his own security. There was zero reason for him to claim he killed 25 Taliban in his book.

Being emotionally manipulative isn't going to end well for him and I expect support will gradually drop. People won't want to keep hearing tales of woe from an overprivileged rich boy born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

ITV news had his book on right after a piece about parents of disabled and dying children worrying about how to afford to pay energy bills for machines keeping them alive.

And there's Harry.....whining away. And has lied too.🤦‍♂️

Ostryga · 06/01/2023 06:37

Omfg GET A LIFE. This obsession with 2 strangers is creepy and quite frankly hugely embarrassing to witness. You all need to think about something else.

I couldn't give a flying fuck if he turned into a gargoyle. Take it to the right topic.

All you peeps who are ignoring the royal threads have missed the funniest thread for ages
How Harry lost his virginity

I agree with you, OP. H and M should stay away - they’d risk putting others in danger.

Well if people posted them in the RF topic then those of us who hid the topic wouldn’t feel the need to come on here and object.

Added to which, the more people object, the quicker the thread will get bumped to 1000 posts, and the quicker it will disappear….

Annoying posts for annoying threads.

And seriously Nurserymumm is someone paying you to post this stuff? It's all you post about. I hope they are because this level of obsession may make people swerve you IRL.
