Does anyone know if this website is legit? I’ve never heard of it before but it’s posting some of the publicised news stories on Harry’s book as well as others that I haven’t seen published anywhere else.

These include Kate being reluctant to lend Meghan her lip gloss, William recoiling from Meghan’s hug during their first meeting and Harry snapping at Meghan causing that led to him seeking therapy (although it touches on William advising it first)

It is a legit celebrity website. In the US it is treated similar to Private Eye in the UK i.e. if they report it, it is probably true.

Its a gossip rag in the US. More like Heat in the UK but more salacious. It’s often used to leak unreliable ‘stories’. It’s often referenced in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. its that trashy.

Private Eye in the UK is political satire. Page 6 is “celebrity news, entertainment news and gossip”

I didn’t have the heart to tell the OP about Private eye being satire, she’s been quoting it as gospel 😀

I know Private Eye is a different type of publication. But just as Private Eye journalists have lots of contacts and are often the first to leak about scandals or misdeeds by politicians, so Page Six has lots of contacts and has leaks about celebrities that no one else has, and are true.
It is not at all trashy or like Heat. I mean the content is celebrity gossip so that is hardly serious journalism, but it is factual.

Lots of celebrities have tried to rubbish Page Six and claim what it publishes is false news, including Trump, but again and again their stories have been proven to be accurate.

PageSix is run by the New York Post, the paper most recently famous for breaking the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. Page 6 of their paper is gossip and used to be just one page of the paper but they've spun it off into a full website now. Murdoch owns it en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Post

I don’t think any media outlet that sells ‘gossip’ is meant to be taken too seriously. I don’t think they’re offering truth, just speculation. I personally don’t consider any of them to be reliable at all.

Sadly it was this type of journalism that literally hounded PW and PH’s mother to death. So to see one brother now weaponising the media against the other is hard to watch. Its every shade of messed up. I feel very sad for all of them but at this moment more so for PW, KM and their children I think.

Page Six tend to be reliable about being factual.
I mean it is celebrity gossip, but they can still write about facts. They do fact check the tips they get.
And they have always traditionally attended lots of parties and written about the behaviour they personally witness of celebrities.

Page Six is the gossip page if the NT Post, which is owned by Murdoch and is one of the few US tabloid newspapers left.

It tends to have very good gossip, particularly historically.
