Very different this year, not having the Queen’s speech. Has King Charles hurt his arm? You could only see his right hand and his left arm didn’t appear to be in its sleeve or is that just me?

Very clear that he sees the future of the monarchy as him, Camilla, Kate and Will. No mention of Andrew, Harry and Megs

Good idea to be standing and not sitting at a desk - bypasses any issues with controversial photos included/ not included

My SIL also pointed out that it looked like his arm wasn’t in his sleeve, it looked a bit strange.

I too thought that there was something very strange about his left sleeve/arm.

We thought it was lovely. Sad without the Queen and strange, because she's been there for our whole lives, but I think the throne is in safe hands with King Charles

An odd posture, but his hand is there. You can just see the edge of his shirtsleeve cuff and the pink of his hand several times.

Loved his speech and I especially love that he just stood in front of a Christmas tree, no pictures to provoke guessing about who his favourite is, no gold piano. I do get the impression he can’t be doing with those kind of displays
