Windsor Christmas Lunch

I am surprised William, Kate and their children were not present. I had thought this was a key Royal Family event. I wonder if they will join the family for Christmas Eve?

"The king and Queen Consort Camilla, who are still living in their London residence Clarence House, were the first to arrive. Charles’ brother Prince Edward arrived with his wife, Sophie Countess of Wessex, and their daughter Lady Louise Windsor, who recently finished her first semester at William and Kate’s alma mater St. Andrews in Scotland. Princess Anne and her husband Sir Timothy Laurence also attended, along with Zara and Mike Tindall, and their children, Mia, Lena and Lucas, who were photographed smiling in the backseat of their Range Rover as they left the castle. The Telegraph reported that Prince Andrew was also set to attend, but he was not photographed arriving.
A handful of the late queen’s cousins also made the trip to Windsor. The Duke of Kent, arrived with his granddaughter, Lady Marina Windsor, his daughter, Lady Helen Taylor, and her family. Prince and Princess Michael of Kent also attended.
Usually Prince William and Kate Middleton attend along with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, but this year they were absent, having reportedly traveled to Anmer Hall, their home on the Sandringham Estate, when the term ended at Lambrook, the school they attend in Berkshire."

Is it patronising to point out not to believe the media, particularly following H&Ms claims?

I’d have thought it was common sense?

Maybe someone has briefed against them to make it look like there is discord within the family? That’s what the media do isn’t it?

antelopevalley · 23/12/2022 14:45

Saying it as you did above is clearly patronising.

I don’t see how?

antelopevalley · 23/12/2022 14:47

I don't know what to say then. Maybe being patronising is usual for you so you do not even recognise it?

Maybe. It does seem to point to tensions.....

Only in your dreams antelopevalley Grin

I dream of certain posters waking up at 5 every morning, rolling their sleeves up and searching the overnight press releases, salivating slightly that something might have come in from the US and then cross-referencing everything with the Court Circulars (probably pinned up on study wall in manner of psychopathic serial killer who wanks over it) and the redtops. Followed by logging in to the Telegraph and the ones they've paid subscriptions to.
Just to keep us informed and sow a few seeds of "there must be tension".
Fucking nuts.

Stop tone policing.

My point is valid and stands, you didn’t like the delivery, but you’ve clearly got nothing to say about the substance.

Stop listening to the media.

Funny how I actually post less than some of the people who accuse me of being obsessed.
I noticed another poster who was critical of the Royal Family was getting the same accusations yesterday despite being fairly new to the Royal Family board.

Fair enough.
You've got a new very prolific mate then.

I dip in and out of this board. CBA with posting most of the time. But it’s very obvious that you start a lot of threads. So don’t get defensiv3 when people pick this up.

She has also been lying on the Rishi Sunak thread, She claims her sister was there and heard a whole extra part of dialogue which mysteriously wasn't captured on camera. Nobody thinks Sunak was right but no need to try and stick the knife in further by making stuff up about him, Kate, William etc

antelopevalley · 25/12/2022 15:32

@bakalava Not me. Stop telling lies.
