Christmas card for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Perfectly nice card, but not very Christmassy.
Does anyone know where it was taken?

I am not picking holes. As I said it is a perfectly nice photo. As I said this seems to be what the aristocracy do, or the ones in the public eye anyway. And that includes Harry and Meghan, Charles and Camilla, etc etc.
I didn't like the one last year of William and Harry and kids in Jordan, this is a much nicer pose.

The kids are gorgeous.

If you are sending hundreds of photos you probably want to personalise them

It's lovely and relaxed - though it's a bit of a shame it's not more Christmas based.

It's also really nice that Will and Kate are breaking the mold somewhat and bringing their children up to have a good blend of duty and normal family.

Have you seen the Man that was behind the camera? If I was grinning at him my DH would probably have a similar kind of expression

If you look back at many of the RF Christmas cards very few are Christmas based. Probably because they have to be printed well before Christmas.

Nice pic but all in blue is a bit naff

Will and Kate used a black and white wedding photo for their first married Christmas card too.

For the uninitiated... the photographer. No wonder Kate's smile is always so broad

(And I don't know why I said 'if' in my earlier post. He lives near us and I have grinned inanely in his direction before now. DH was understandably - and lightheartedly- nonplussed).

I think Wills can still look cute (when he’s wearing a hat) but Matt is more my jam.

I wouldn’t find it hard to smile for a photo for him.

William is the kind of man whose wife probably thinks he is gorgeous. But in reality he is ordinary looking, perfectly fine, but not actor level good looks.

It's gorgeous. Not very Christmassy though!

It's nice enough but I do prefer the more autumnal of 2020 and 2018. If it's Sandringham expect there will be really of how it's a nod of remembrance to the late Queen who spent her Xmas there or some such stretch in the papers.

They all really like blue, don't they?
