Who is behind the camera taking pictures of Meghan crying?

They've turned the dial up to eleven!

It certainly is comedy gold. The carefully posed spontaneous, black and white photos of them being fun and carefree and Very Much In Love. 'With stakes this high...'

As I said, I suspect they can't sustain it for a full six hours, unfortunately 😀

No idea. But when I was suffering horrible pnd and my family were making demands on me being all round really fucking horrible to me, my husband took a photo of me feeding my baby while sobbing crying. He wanted them to see just how much damage they were doing to me because at that point he had tried everything else to stop them.
I wasn’t aware of the photo until after the fact and sadly it didn’t stop them. Blocking them from my life is the only thing that worked and I’m so glad I had the strength, courage and support to do it before they killed me.

@TheHighlandMoo Same thing happened to me and I also went no contact. I’m so sorry.

Redkettle · 02/12/2022 07:43

I don't understand the hate to H and M. Charles did a tell all interview and slagged off the queen. Diana did same he's only doing what others have done before him . I'd take Harry any day over William.

Redkettle · 02/12/2022 07:44

Also can understand him wanting to protect his family. The hate towards her from the media is unreal

NewStartIn50s · 02/12/2022 07:49

It's their 'truth' packaged up with lovely black and white shots and dramatic pictures. Lots love this sort of sharing publicly and that's up to H&M. I don't think they give a thought for anyone else's 'truth' though, it's all them.

They just don't seem to have processed things and moved on but are rather stuck back in the past and constantly feel the need to hit out at others and regurgitate everything over and over and over and over and over....

I feel sad for the ones that are unable to respond, they do the dignified no comment, no complaint type thing. It must be hard for W&K to see the family torn apart with the 'truths' of others.

foggydaysun · 02/12/2022 07:50

The image of Kate being hard faced followed by one of Meghan being hard faced is to make us all think there will be an exciting cat fight revealed in the film.

And I don’t know why people on here keep saying, ‘they are nobodies, no-one cares’. Well clearly, huge numbers of people do care and are ver interested, seen by thread after thread, and news and media coverage galore.

I feel sorry for Harry. Is he behaving appallingly? Yes. But I honestly think he’s acting out massive unresolved trauma. To throw aside, and so bitterly, your whole family, something really serious has happened. And we all know what. Harry has lived through serious trauma. I don’t buy the, ‘well he had money and job security, so he can’t have any problems! Arse!’ Argument. His family status and lives led to his mother being killed, living a miserable life in the family prior to that, which Harry will have be aware of, led to him being paraded in public to wailing performative hordes, to living in a family and subject to a media that he blames for his mothers death, to live a life with little agency or choice. I mean, Jesus, no they are not my problems, but that’s a seriously traumatic fucked up life right there. And it’s not even like he has a support group of people who have been through the same as the life he is born into is so weird and unique. And feeling alone and not understood like that is pretty head fucking.

I am not surprised he has acted out like this. I am surprised and disheartened by the lack of empathy and understanding from posters on these threads.

I know nothing about Meghan so can’t comment on her.

LillianGish · 02/12/2022 07:50

This is how they make their money and earn their living now - making documentaries and podcasts about how they left the RF so they could have a private life. The brothers have asked that their mother's interview with Martin Bashir never be shown again - this would appear to be that interview six times over. The loved up photos remind me of the Instagram and Facebook accounts of couples who feel they need to post lovey-dovey stuff to prove a point (in my experience the more lovey-dovey the photos the shorter the relationship) in the actual snippet of Harry being interviewed he looks slightly ill at ease. I think they might find they have sold their souls to the devil with this - once the genie is out of the bottle they won't be able to put it back in. It seems a shame because they could actually be having the quiet, unintruded-upon family life they claimed to want.

NewStartIn50s · 02/12/2022 07:56

The victim status must surely come to an end at some point especially when it increasingly looks like they are bullying and unkind towards Kate in particular. They appear to be showing their true colours rather than their truth, jealously, rage, victim status and constant pity seeking.

Overgrowngrasslady · 02/12/2022 07:59

Wasn’t it rumoured that they had tried to dial back what they had done in this series and Netflix had told them no?

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Netflix chose this timing for max publicity, nit harry and Meghan . Harry and Meghan signed a deal with the devil . I mean look at the crown. This docuseries is just another version of that. Gossipy trash talking the royal family.

once this is done, then Harry’s book, it’s just a constant onslaught of them selling stories on the royals, do they even try to do anything good anymore, I don’t think they do. How many times can they sell the same story , I hate the media, the palace treated us terribly, I had to protect my family, Meghan was suicidal, they are racists, it’s like yes you told us.

it’s like this is it, they are a one trick pony, stuck in s moment in time, rehashing the same stuff over and over for money . They can’t seem to move on, live their lives, be happy , they are caught in this hamster wheel of revenge

How is adding fuel to the fire helping protect his family though? Its opening them up to more scrutiny, and what about the rest of his family? I do agree the media was vile to Meghan, the media overall are disgusting in this country and absolutely something should be done about it. Just seems weird if his family was at the heart of these decisions they would have left to start a new life and not added to the media circus. Its almost as if money, getting petty revenge and whatever else is the core of these decisions.

LookingAtYou · 02/12/2022 08:10

A reality show. Honestly. Didn't we all predict this was the goal in 2018 when they left.

His mother would be ashamed of him, how awful to be such a sell out.

Diana wasnt aposed to a bit of manipulation herself, the spple doesnt fall far from the tree.

They have a life of immense privilege. A wonderful home, 2 beautiful children and apparently good health. They have a global presence and could be a force for good. They have the opportunity to be held in high regard and to promote change.

And they do this. Sadly it will never end. Narcissists (and I believe Meghan is one based on my own awful experience) will always believe that they are the victim. They can only see their own version of events.

It's very sad because at the end of the day this is a family which is being torn apart.

thehorsehasnowbolted · 02/12/2022 08:13

It's been enough already, how much milking can one do?

stuntbubbles · 02/12/2022 08:15

Blip · 02/12/2022 06:50

What are the high stakes though?
I don't see that.

The threats to her life.
The racist abuse.
Presumably the fallout from them walking out of the royal family, which let’s face it has had repercussions all round.

Fairydoors · 02/12/2022 08:15

Ah, the traditional MM bashing on Mumsnet.

So despite it now being proved a racist bully was assigned to her to 'show her the ropes' , and nobody believed her, we are now moving on to something else to have a go at her for .

Good stuff.

They have to pay for their lifestyle somehow I suppose and this is the angle they have taken. They could have sorted their family issues in private and moved away- I'm sure most people would have supported Harry as he was quite popular. I'm sure if his book and this series had been focused on them and starting afresh or whatever it would have been popular, no need for the spite and swiping. They've backed themselves into a corner now though, I wonder if their children will resent them for excluding them from half of their family- Harry spent a lot of time with his cousins etc growing up.

BringItBackBruno · 02/12/2022 08:17

Haven't they been out of the royal family for longer now than they were in it as a couple? It's like that friend who's still endlessly rehashing the breakup of a 1 year relationship.....15 years later.

I actually had sympathy for them when they said they didn't want to live their lives under media scrutiny. Not any more........

Why don't they see how petulant and pathetic they come across? All the stylish, posed monochrome snaps don't hide the fact they are full of bitterness snd resentment. Why don't they care about his family's mental health? These attacks are just relentless.

'When the stakes are so high we should dish the dirt' <paraphrasing>. Well they already have in the Oprah Winfrey stunt, then his trashy book is due. What more is there to say other than they couldn't cut it so left for the US?!

I also find the timing of this so soon after the Queen's death, just as her family approach their first Christmas without her, disgusting and disrespectful.

ShamedBySiri · 02/12/2022 08:19

Six episodes! For hard core fans only. I can hardly think of anyone whose life merits six full episodes .
And they appear to have a live in photographer documenting their daily life. So glad Her Majesty and/or her staff made sure the photographer was banned from recording the time HMQ finally got to meet the grandchildren earlier this year.
I feel very sad for the people whose lives have been helped so much by the Invictus games. Where once Harry was a conduit to raise publicity for the games now the games are the means for Harry to raise publicity for Harry.

LookingAtYou · 02/12/2022 08:20

'It's like that friend who's still endlessly rehashing the breakup of a 1 year relationship.....15 years later.'

Yes can you imagine, in years to come it'll be part 20, 30 and 40 'and then there was that time that.. ' 🥱

LookingAtYou · 02/12/2022 08:23

'And they appear to have a live in photographer documenting their daily life'

I know! All those intimate moments pretending to play the guitar in a meadow or giggling in the kitchen, person with camera snapping away in the corner. Don't they care about privacy, don't they want any private moments at all?! or is it all about the $$$$

Yes, I don't like the timing. But they aren't courting a British audience. They've always been tuned for the American one.

And it seems to be working.
