Just thought I would post this link to the Royal Family documentary that was made in 1969. I understand it was shown once in the UK and then never repeated. It follows a year in the life of the Queen and family.

You’re welcome! It gets taken down from YouTube every so often and then put back up. The rumour is that the late Queen didn’t like it. There is another documentary a year in the life of HM, on BBC iplayer filmed in i think 1992

I think it’s very interesting and shows the more human side of the late Queen

The outside. Also watching the 1992 programme. What a fantastic woman she was.

Ah ok I’ll need to watch that again to see. I wonder what that was caused by as you would think pollution has got worse now, however more people had coal fires I guess in 1960s but I thought London had been a smoke free zone so you could only burn smokeless fuel since 60s due to terrible smogs they used to get

Airbus much cleaner now than it was in the 60's. Same with Prince Phillip, only realised how much he actually did after his death.

Oh that’s interesting, do you remember how it was received by people ? I think it was ground breaking at the time

The Queen had asked it never to be shown again - so it won’t last on YouTube very long
