Couldn't find a thread about this, but seen some mention the lovely chap that told people to put their phones down and enjoy the moment at his first walkabout outside Buckingham Palace. He was amazing.
The other chap who seems to be in every photo with Charles. He's been everywhere. He was the one who took the pen, he also swiftly stood in the way when the guy was wittering about fuel bills, and also present during the walk from Buckingham Palace behind the Queens coffin. He seems like Charles' right hand man. Fairly sure he isn't his personal secretary, wondered if he was CP. He has also been incredible and deserves a massive shout out, as he's been first to step in at every possible difficulty so far.
Those who are close to King Charles are really earning their money right now. I've no ulterior motive in posting this thread other than to show my admiration (as these people likely make great sacrifices in their personal lives for their duty - as do others in the Armed Forces - so I thank them all e.g. the Queens Guard, young chaps who have carried HM coffin, the ones who have stood on Vigil etc.)
I'd like to also recognise the Police and volunteers in #The Queue and anyone who has been involved in the logistics of this operation. There will be many, and they have likely given up time they would usually spend with family (including this Bank Holiday Monday)
Also, please note that I've posted in the Royal Family topic, so I'd hope there won't be any negative comments. Not least because Her Majesty has not yet been laid to rest.
From an ordinary person. Thank you. I'm disabled so couldn't go to pay my respects to HM, but send my love to all those who did.
God Bless you all.
