Does anyone know if they've brought them over? Surely they've not left them in America?

Who cares?

CamdenLurker · 17/09/2022 21:25

My mother lived a few streets away from me, she never looked after my children for a few hours let alone did overnights or weeks of childcare, simply living close to relatives doesn’t mean you’ll have constant childcare provided by them.

No one knows whether they are with their grandmother or not! Most likely a nanny. The tabloid press have mentioned they might be with their grandmother but no one knows do they!

On the one hand you say no one knows and then you go stating that they are probably with a nanny. Funny how you get to speculate but no one else can

MelodyPondsMum · 17/09/2022 21:38

Seriously ... are the 'squads' going to argue about childcare now? Give it a rest. No-one knows except their family and their family are not on MN.

Northernlurker · 17/09/2022 21:44

I wouldn't be shocked to hear the children had been bought over but it's nobody's business but theirs. They might think it better to leave them there with whoever is looking after them and get a flight on a Tuesday morning

amatsip · 17/09/2022 22:00

So from this thread the children are with their Grandma or nanny who lives 30 mins or an hour away, Meghan might have popped back to USA to see them, The children Skype every night with their parents, they might, might not go to funeral….. 🤣 you couldn’t make it up… oh wait…

My thoughts too. It’s a lot to be responsible for two young children of 3 and 1 for this long. Doria strikes me as an independent sort of person with her own life and probably a job. That’s why I thought they would be with a nanny . If H and M are frequently away for days at a time , sometimes abroad, I would have thought relying on Doria might be tricky. No one knows one way or the other of course.

There's no way they would bring the children to the funeral given their family been denied full police protection (unlike, say, Prince Andrew) and they now rely on private bodyguards whenever they visit. To bring their kids into the eye of the media storm around the Queen's funeral without proper full protection would be irresponsible. Leaving aside the logistics of who they have been left with in the US!

Harry's currently suing the Home Office to try and make it safe enough for his children to regularly come here and feel British as they grow up without falling prey to some stalker or paparazzi mob while in UK.

Implying that this situation somehow makes H&M neglectful parents is a bit batty! I'm sure they miss them and will be reunited soon. But seriously... has no one else been thinking about this security thing? I'd have thought it was common knowledge. Wisteriaroundthedoor · 17/09/2022 22:08

Why would you drag such young kids over, and how could you not know they didn’t arrive due to the queens death, that must be sone serious news avoidance you’re doing.

In afraid you have this wrong, Harry and Meghan and their kids get full protection if undertaking royal activities and anything related to the

Wisteriaroundthedoor · 17/09/2022 22:12

Sorry pressed send too quick, anything related to the queens death they are all covered, it’s only personal activities they don’t get free met protection for.

It's odd you started a thread rather than just Google it.

Is it? Really? What's the point of a discussion board if we can Google everything?

OP posts:
MelodyPondsMum · 18/09/2022 09:40

Most threads are discussions. They're asking for opinions and experiences. If you just want a fact or information then Google makes more sense. No-one on MN knows the whereabouts of someone else's DCs.
