If you live outside the UK, were your TV schedules cleared for the Queens death?

Just that.
How much coverage is this getting were you are?

Our Parliament in Ireland returned this afternoon after the Summer break and have just had a minute's silence for the Queen.

US here - on the day she died all the local broadcast channels interrupted their regular programming to show events in Scotland and London, for several hours.

This was accompanied by slightly bemused commentary on all the traditional pomp, along with pieces on the life of the queen, and the life - so far - of Charles and commentary on Charles and Camilla. There were interviews with various C listers and hangers on who used words like 'Golly', which greatly amused the news anchors.

Since then the local nightly news has carried a few short clips every night, basically a roundup of the events of the day. I'd say they'll show the entire funeral.

No, definitely not.

Although we can watch 24/7 on Sky news if anyone wants to.

Obviously it was headline news onthe day, but if I look at our local news reporting on international news right now, footage of the Queen is 11th place down the list.

Top place is Google having to pay fine
10 people missing in Jordan
Update on Ukraine
Power issues in France
Another monkeypox death

Etc.

I am sure there will be some clips of the funeral on the day, but I doubt the whole ceremony will be televised in normal channels. Bbc and sky will have full coverage for those who choose to watch it.
