Is it crazy busy?

We want to lay flowers but I'm bring the kids with me so trying to work out if it's sensible or not?

Coffin is arriving later today so I'm thinking it might be rammed this afternoon. But a week day evening might be less busy than the weekend?

Has anyone who's been got any advice?

I went up there yesterday afternoon and into the evening to see the Queen arrive at Buckingham Palace and there we lots of children around from babes in pushchairs up to tweens. The only thing I would say is there is quite a bit of walking involved so it really depends if they don't mind that. Lots of pop up facilities for toilets and tea & coffee etc and there is a small children's playground at one end of Green Park. I thought it was very well managed and didn't seem overly crowded at any point until of course we were at the barriers for the arrival. A lot of people will be there queuing from today so if you are not doing that then I think you'd be fine. I don't have young children but if yours are ok walking then I'd certainly do it. It's a one off.

Forgot to say, I don't know whereabouts you are coming from but if you can I'd probably try and avoid the morning rush hour window into London if you are with children.
