Mourning outfits

Camilla seems to have been wearing the same dress for a few days ! Is there a special dress code for mourning, ie the same dress duplicated to wear each day during the mourning period. Just curious.

No she hasn't. It's a different outfit.
The dress code is to wear black.

Camilla's dresses have had certain similarities, but she has not worn the same thing every day.

It's not identical, because I noted the cut and neck insert was different. However, to answer your question, no she doesn't have to wear identical outfits. Possibly she had similar ones made quite quickly and to the same pattern when it became necessary.

I just went and had a look at what she’s wearing today and it bears no resemblance to the dress she wore yesterday other than it’s also black.

@PinkTonic ok I'm clearly mistaken then, it looks very similar to me in style and shape.

She does tend to favour a certain dress shape so that may be what's causing you to think the dresses look the sam?

It's hard to make a black dress look distinctive.

She and all the royal women will be in black every day now until the funeral. After that they may be in somber colours for another week or so.

They mostly have outfits from Philip last year, but I should think someone has been out getting things for Megan.

There’s only so much you can do with black dresses.

i would imagine she (and probably all of the royal ladies) have 7-10 black dresses in a shape and fit that’s flattered that they’ve had prepared for a good while. After all the photos of all these events are going to be shown worldwide and the coverage is going to be watched repeatedly for years so they want ones that fit well and look smart and ensures no chance of a blowing up skirt or the likes.
