Well, I’d have tried to churn out a few if I thought they made that much…..

This is regarding Sarah Ferguson’s Mayfair property purchase when she claims she is on the verge of bankruptcy. Actually surely we all know a few like her - always pleading poverty and then turning up in a new car/jetting off on a luxury holiday/wearing expensive clothes.

I wonder if they’re written by her or churned out by a ghost writer.

Maybe she is skint but has rich mates who have private jets/holiday homes. Maybe she should get a financial advisor… oh wait

I wonder where she got the money too. The Swiss chalet owner is incensed. They owed her £6.8M on the property and she let them off half of it because they pleaded poverty and she believed they didn't have the money.
Then she splashes out £5M on a Mayfair property bought from her pal Duke of Westminster.
Murky or what....

Perhaps her newest son-in-law has helped her out.

It's always been a lifestyle choice; it's just that she was lucky (?) enough to find a partner who appears even more rotten than she does, whose family are keen to keep bad news from public view and can therefore be relied on for money

Why should we?

She lives in 98 acre Royal Lodge on our dime, after being divorced from the disgraced member of the RF for 25 years. How bizarre is that? Do you think she pays her way whilst living there? The bills, the upkeep, the food, everything? Of course not. We fund her.

I cannot imagine why we can't speak of her and why we should 'mind our own business'. It is our business.

It's very much our business when despite being divorced for decades she's still gallivanting round royal properties we subsidise, still using her royal title and now apparently conniving in telling sob stories to the previous owner of the ski chalet that at least until recently remained unsold on the grounds of unspecified financial irregularity.

The chalet was supposed to be a 'nest egg' for her daughters and the mews house is the latest incarnation. They have wealthy husbands scandalous donations direct into their bank accounts the run of various royal properties and are never going to be on are their uppers.

Why would they need one?

This woman has been leaning on financial donations for decades. All in the public domain, in case anyone is offended.

Her main contributor , Andrew, has lost a huge amount of his income.
She obviously needs to find money for herself.

I utterly despair of the RF . These scrounging nonentities ( Andrew and Sarah) have no right to be considered 'Royal' anymore and should be funding themselves. That Sarah is trying , now, is a step in the right direction. But Mayfair? She is probably leasing it from an oligarch. I dunno , but I don't want to hear about her anymore.

The current Duke of Westminster is only 31, so I'm not sure how he can be an old pal? Anyway, there's something rotten about the whole business.

Sarah doesn't come across as a clever, measured, manipulative person. If she had dirt on Andrew and wanted to use it to her advantage I think it would have been blurted out long ago to one of the red tops, or she would have produced a ghostwritten tell all book, or appeared on a chat show spilling the beans right, left and Centre.

Not necessarily; after all, spouting the "honourable Andrew" schtick keeps her in Royal Lodge with access to all sorts, which she'd undoubtably lose if she once opened her mouth

Granted a book or chat show could earn her a pile of money, but not an ongoing pile, and what would she do for cash once she'd blasted through that too?
